Homes Supermarket — Attraction in Adelaide

The latest Asian Supermarket in Chinatown! They're open late night and and have recently started to sell liquor which is great and convenient.

The layout of the supermarket is very modern, simple and clean. They stock many essentials and also have a small snack/meat section at the back.

If you compare Homes Supermarket to other super markets in Chinatown, I feel that the stock are slightly more expensive than others, which is understandable since Homes Supermarket has a more premium shopping experience.

Overall, I think that they have done a great job in setting up the store. If I were to buy some small snacks and drinks I'd definitely go to Homes...

We love the frozen dumplings made by the ladies in the kitchen. But recently they have used machines to make dumplings which are not impressive at all! There is a huge difference between man made dumplings and machine ones. If they continue using machine to make dumplings, their dumplings have no difference than any other ones selling in the Asian groceries. I understand that labour cost is a issue but I am happy to pay more to get good quality food. The biggest reason we shop there is the hand made dumplings, if this is taken away, we will no longer go there as an option. I want to say to the owner of the shop, please value what is more...

Absolutely amazing place to shop. Friendly cashier lady’s and so many AWSOME foods/fresh produce to choose from. My ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE is the beef 🥩 and cucumber 🥒 salad already made, it’s Incredible and addictive. I’ll buy 1kg and finish it all in 2days. I literally have to stop myself going into the city or I’d never leave this store, always finding new things to try and rarely disappointed and if I on the off occasion don’t like it too much either my daughter or husband will love it so never gone wrong here.
