Trinity Church Adelaide is such an amazing church to go for all people. For families, there are 2 all-age gatherings in the morning, the first being at 9am and the second at 10:45 am. Senior paster Geoff Linn gives really good sermons that allow you to take a lot out of the service. During these services there are kids programs for kids from 3 years old to year 6, which are run by amazing members of the church who put a lot of their love into teaching these kids. For those families with infants, there is also a parents room where you can watch the service through a screen without being worried about disturbing anybody else with the crying of children.
There is also a Chinese service at 10:45am where all Chinese families are welcome to come and join the service. There are a lot of great rich discussions in this service, where everybody is extremely welcoming. If you have children, they can also attend the kids program.
At 6pm, there is another service, which is generally filled with highschool and uni students. This service is not as primary-school kid friendly, however, it is perfect for those who may need to work in the morning.
All 4 of these services are full of wonderful communities where the wide variety of ages allow for the development of intergenerational relationships.
Trinity Church also offers many growth groups that many people can come to be a part of. They are extremely welcoming and can also help newcomers to develop stronger relationships with their church family.
For those who are in high-school, Trinity runs a youth group under the name of Fusion, where teens from years 7-12 meet every Sunday at 3:30 to 5:45. Fusion is an amazing place for high school students to go to to build their faith with a bunch of people in their year level. Fusion runs with a game at the start, then a talk, where afterwards everyone breaks up into small groups, which are categorised in age and gender groups. Each group has 2 leaders which will be with them for their whole time at Fusion. After small groups, everybody comes together for dinner in the Parish Hall, where you meet up in the first place. The food at Fusion is made by the parents of the children that attend, and is always a very nutritious and delicious meal.
Overall, Trinity Church is an amazing church to build relationships with people and discover more about God and Jesus. Everybody is extremely welcoming and there are so many things to offer at this church, even if you would just like to attend for Easter services or Christmas services. I would highly recommend attending...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisited while on holiday and our second. Beautiful Good Friday service. Warm and exciting atmosphere. Very good music - balanced mix of traditional and contemporary hymns, enthusiastically sung, accompanied by a very competent orchestra that didnāt drown out the singing. All the Bible readings were read very fluently, the congregation was actively engaged in the story telling, the sermon was very scriptural and unmistakably evangelical with no risk of misunderstanding the true meaning for the suffering and death of Christ. The pastors were very friendly and welcoming, and the morning tea was yummy and although we chatted with another visiting couple, nobody from the regular congregation made an attempt to engage with us, which was disappointing. Still, we felt very blest in the worship and look forward to returning and hope familiarity will change this. If new to Adelaide, we recommend you try...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a newcomer, I impress with the service at Trinity City which is truly excellent. The first time I looked for the Trinity Church in 2015, I got lost in the city. But I finally ended up in the 2nd service, which I normally attend. I thank God for this because I feel comfortable with the service at Trinity. Frankly, I enjoy the band which is amazing, and I also love the bible study at Trinity. In particular, the bible study is very helpful for me to better understand the word of God. The Trinity City also helped me to grow as Christian in terms of its teachings. I found the Sunday messages very useful in order to develop my faith in Jesus. Therefore, I highly encourage those who are looking for a church, or keen to learn about Jesus, to visit the...
