The only reason we ate here was because unknown to us it was the "included" breakfast while staying at the Oaks Horizons. In all other circumstances we would avoid The Coffee Club like the plague. We thought we'd stay positive and give it a go but we very soon were not so positive. My eggs on the salmon breakfast were microwaved, so much so that they were a solid grey mess. And for whatever reason half a tub of sour cream was someone's bright idea of a suitable inclusion on this breakfast.. it is not! The whole plate didn't make any sense. The "food" took at least half an hour to come out, which is ridiculous seeing that most items on both our meals weren't cooked and that there were only only two other customers in the restaurant at the time. My partners poached eggs on the eggs Benny had the slightest bit of runny yolk but they were also pretty close to being over down. The salmon and spinach on both meals was fantastic.. most likely because it didn't need to be cooked or prepared in any way by The Coffee Club! I'm super disappointed that a "kitchen" can send out food like that and that a business like the Oaks can think that is an acceptable breakfast option to offer their customers without giving them a prior heads up. This is the most disappointing breakfast experience I've had in a very long time.

Although food is great but I was unimpressed with the service. We came for a conference and whole of Adelaide was booked out so obviously it was going to be a busy morning. But there were only 4 ppl. A chef, server, barista and an order taker. Obviously the first day couldn’t get any brekkie. The next day came at 1030 to avoid rush. Anyways over all the place is good 3/5 but value for money is 2/5 as I do find food expensive for the serving. As u can c below. 18$ for a chicken burger with one small piece of patty with a few chips is just not killing it. Plus the smash avo with salmon n egg ws 21$. Welcome to first world country..

Not bad for the coffee club a hellava lot cheaper than Sydney tho! I ordered my own design breakfast just one poached egg on ciabatta and add baked beans. The egg itself was the disappointment just too runny and lacked any flavour so must be supermarket eggs. The rest was fine but just got two small slices of Turkish bread not two slices of ciabatta that came with eggs. My mates chia latte wasn’t good either but the service was friendly and fast considering it was packed out. I guess for me I buy my eggs from local free range farm and there is no comparison to the supermarket egg. Overall I’d go back just not for eggs lol

Honest Review: A very average cafe. Used to visit often, in Sydney. Loved it. However, cant say the same about this branch.

Atmosphere - first glance looks tidy and clean. The sealing lamps were cute and affective. Came around 3, well past lunch when it wasn’t too busy. But upon closer inspection, I noticed that the tables were unwiped with crumbs and sauce everywhere and floors left messy. Had to clean the tables myself.

Food - i ordered something i was familir with, a Chicken burger, and for beverage a Strong black. The coffee was made somewhat efficiently, and tasted fine. The food was very disappointing.

Firstly the burger was poorly crafted. I know not to expect pictures on pamphlets but this was beyond that. The burger lacked volume, not juiciness to it. Had the least amount of sauce used to minimise cost. The prebought chicken looked as if they bought w KFC tender and re-fried it. I also got unlucky with the french fries, likely getting the remainder of the factory-prepped bag. Resulting in heaps of tiny bits that were not worth eating - largest being 5cm or so. But you can’t go wrong with chicken-salt! Overall the food definitely is not worth 22$. A fast food restaurant would for sure have something better. also be wary of the menua changes - they have been upped to around 8$+

Service - was objectively the worst part of my experience. The staff looked very unhappy and uncooperative. The way the waitress served the food had no thought - no smile, no attentiveness, had mine just thrown onto the table with no warning. Sure, they mightve been on a 5+ hour shift, but I have seen better customer service than this at grocery stores run by 13 year-olds. Another instance that i saw, was a customer ordering some drinks which the waiter was on their phone.(?) Not sure if they allow that or not, but the customer was trying to talk/communicate about their order to be ignored completely. I saw them getting visibly frustrated as well - completely understandable. Not to mention the lack of teamwork they had. The “chef” had prepared a meal, just for the waitress to ignore the notification, while again, playing with their phone. The chef then comes out of the kitchen-back - no gloves - to hand out the food to a customer. Without a single word, they threw the plate down onto the table and walked off. No notice and poor body language. This service disappointed me greatly, as I was used to seeing warm and greeting workers.

To my annoyance, I would be giving this specific branch a lower rating. If they focused on cafe hygiene, respecting customers and possibly upping the quality of food, it could be a cafe worth going. Apologies for the harsher review, but would love for this place to live up...

Very understaffed, could see the amount of work and stress the employers had.... Tables got cleaned 10min after we sat already, they were extremely apologetic,... We were 3 of us for brekkie and coffee; didn't get any water offered, didn't have salt and pepper on table and didn't get cutlery delivered with my plate, had to wait 2 minutes after my meal has arrived yet. My meal was ok however not worth the price,.. My coffee came before food which i was happy about but my friend's coffee has never arrived, she even had her meal finished already. When we asked at the counter we've been told the docket got lost, again apologetic and made the coffee right away. Don't blame the girls/womans who work there as they tried really hard,.. Would only suggest the management team to put more employers to helped them as the whole cafe was a mess and they simply couldn't manage it. Felt so bad I wanted to jump in and...
