The Palms Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Airlie Beach

This place is definitely a hidden gem in Airlie Beach. Located directly opposite the Port of Airie with the most amazing view!!! We sat on the balcony for our meals and were very impressed with our bug and prawn linguine. Full of prawns and a whole bug, this pasta meal was so big I had to leave some pasta behind! The staff are super friendly and professional and you feel like you are in a 5 star restaurant. We were staying over the road at the Sebel and after seeing how nice this place is we kind of wished we had stayed here too!! They also serve continental and a la carte breakfast AND do takeaway coffee!! I went back in the morning and sat on the balcony enjoying the superb view with my morning coffee which was also top notch! I cant recommend this place, service and ambience highly enough! You must try out before...

great service! the steak was really good! 1000000/10. we also had the garlic bread as an entree and it came out, still hot and fresh and it was crispy and very delicious!

my mum started choking and ran outside to cough out the piece of meat stuck in her throat, and one of the servers immediately followed her to make sure she was ok! brought out some water and napkins for her and stayed with her till she was ok.

the workers were incredibly friendly and made sure the food was nice.

The food is very good, but I had to wait for a long time (around 1h) even though the restraurant was rather empty and meanwhile I got cold outside, but they didn't let me go inside because they only had a table for 4 left. I promised to move back outside in case anyone showed up, but they didn't let me sit there anyway and then I had to wait outside while it got colder and colder (at least they gave me a blanket). But in total this poor service and the long wait time can't make up for the food, so I wouldn't...
