Walked upto Monument Hill from our city hotel. Took about 20 minutes and of course a fair few steps and a decent hill climb. But what a magnificent monument encircled by plaques on plinths commemorating the many conflicts Australia's servicemen/women have been involved in. One vacant plinth left - what will be the plaque that will go on it?

Roughly 25 minutes walk from CBD and colorful trees along the way in Autumn. A beautiful view to see Albury from the hill. A place to commemorate all Australians and New Zealanders, who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.

Great view of Albury and an important memorial for those involved in peacekeeping and wars in the past. You can walk or drive up there.
