We have been to Okami 5 times, and each time it has been amazing! The value for this experience is insane at 41.70 for a person for an all you can eat experience for 2 hours. While it is for 2 hours, you get through a lot, since the quality and the speed of the food is impeccable. The entrees section is amazing, and where we spent most of our time experiences Gyozas, spring rolls and sushi. The mains were also amazing, with the curry chicken being my favourite. They hand everything out in portion sizes based on table size, which was the perfect amount for us. Beware, though, they have a disclaimer saying that if there was a certain amount of wastage, you would be charged. However, this is not enforced unless there is a ridiculous amount of waste. However, they also won't come to your table to clear plates or order more food until the plates on the table are empty. We do recommend going early as to get food quicker then peak hour at 6-7. If you order fried rice with the intention to mix with the meat for a stif-fry, the fried rice is the only dish that we have noticed that takes a long time to get to the table. All in all, an amazing experience with lovely staff, a lovely atmosphere, delicious, consistent food and amazing value. We come here every year for my birthday. Would recommend for an experience!

All you can eat option. Food was delicious and fresh! So many dishes to choose from and they came out quickly and frequently. You can order up to 7 dishes at a time and just need to finish those dishes before you can order more. We were able to eat 14 dishes between 2 people in the allocated 2hr time frame. Tip is to go on a week night and do not order the rice more than once because it's very filling and you have to finish it before you can order other dishes. Surcharge of $10 per 200g of uneaten food applies if you do not eat all of what you ordered but this will be unlikely as food portions are not too big and you can order as you eat to avoid food wastage. Vegetarian options available and you can order individual dishes if you do not want all you can eat. Would definately return.

On the verge of 5 stars to this establishment however, noticeable items did miss the spot for me and have a handful of remarks. (pros and cons) The food overall was well presented and was in simple terms delicious. The contrast of the ingredients were quite explosive and flamboyant. The main issue we had and observed other customers have the similar issue was that the customer service was lacking and needs improvement. We had to wave a waiter over to get the menus after being seated at the table (over 15 mins) and it probably took just as long to get their attention to order. Overall the atmosphere was quite pleasant and smelt good and the staff was friendly even though it was quite busy.

Was definitely great to start off with, dishes we ordered we coming out fast and hot and the service was fantastic, the only 2 downsides we had was, at the end when we ordered a steak dish and icecream the food stopped all together, we waited probably 30 minutes for the steak dish and the icecream witch we had to keep asking about when our waitresses kept popping over to ask if we wanted anything else. (Not ideal when your reservation is timed) Another weird thing about the all you can eat menu is that if you don't like something or waste 200g or over of food then you will get charged for it ontop of your all you can eat price. Luckily it was our first time and she was nice enough to waive it this time. Also we think they could have a couple more things on the menu, wasn't a whole lot to choose from. Would be a fantastic place for...

We arrived for the early sitting and a line up was out the door...finally asked by staff for our booking which was made on line...they had no record of it...we were seated in an adjacent room away from atmosphere of the actual dining area and we were waiting on friends who we called ...and they were seated in actual restaurant under the booking name.... no apologies were given other than it must have been a glitch in the system...our food arrived after previously ordering it on other table and majority of it was cold....service was not up to scratch and a few dishes were good but overall disappointing....and then we were asked to leave by 7.30pm after being messed around with booking and the line up happened yet again to pay! Hopefully service will improve as I have been to other Okami restaurants and standard was a lot...
