Coco Cozy Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Not one for going out of my way to write negative reviews. However my experiences, plural, have been so poor with this place

First instance, I ordered a meal, the meal took 35 mins to come out - there was no warning it would take 35 mins. The meal was incorrect. I asked the staff if it was what I actually ordered and they assured me it was. I go in look at the menu and the item was the complete wrong thing and the staff didn’t even know. How do you not know the 5 meals your serve individually? And if you’re not sure… check?

Second instance, went to order a coffee. Sat down AND WAITED 35 MINS. For a coffee. The coffee didn’t end up coming, they kept taking order after order without letting people know there would be a wait. There would’ve been 15 people waiting for over 30 mins for a coffee. This business has no respect for peoples time. We ended up not getting the coffee and instead a refund.

Both of these experiences were with the same person. If you read this I genuinely recommend you let this person go from your employment, he is loosing...

I had breakfast at this café and it was such a wonderful experience. I ordered the Cozy Breakfast while my companion had the Canadian Breakfast, and both were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, everything was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were well-balanced and satisfying. The Cozy Breakfast was hearty and comforting, and the Canadian Breakfast was a real treat — especially the crispy bacon and fluffy pancakes.

The coffee was smooth and aromatic, and paired perfectly with the meal. The café itself had a warm and relaxed vibe, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a peaceful morning.

What made the visit even better was the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — they greeted us with smiles and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our visit. It’s not easy to find places where both the food and the service are excellent, but this café nailed it.

We were a group of 5, ordered separately at the counter. First few meals arrived, they started eating while we waited for the last two to arrive. After eating some of her meal, one of the ladies cut into her poached egg and realised the yolk was runny (she ordered hard boiled). I had ordered the same meal five minutes after her without knowing. She took her half eaten meal back to the kitchen to ask them to recook the eggs. Waitress brought it back, told her she had been given the wrong order and it was actually for me (hers was still being cooked). Proceeded to put the half eaten meal in front of me and told me to just take what had already been eaten off her new plate when it arrived…then walked away. Of course I took it back to the kitchen and told them that actually no, I wouldn’t be eating someone else’s half eaten food. They brought me the same plate 10 minutes later with fresh eggs…on top of the now cold muffins and...
