Red Rooster Kelvin Grove — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Ordered a Triple Rippa and a Rippa in combos. We often visit Red Rooster in Toowoomba. Do not recommend this store.

Store was quiet when we got there, stayed relatively quiet bar a few walk ins as we ate (3-4 students, 2-3 others roughly).

Chips were OK but under salted. Drinks cold, although the drinks fridge was cloudy due to an unwashed/wiped door (definitely not cold/condensation, I checked the inside when I got our drinks). Rolls were on the way to being stale so we’re crunchy but not at all in a fresh way, and both of us commented on there being very little sauce but enough lettuce. Chicken was average, they were largely under-crumbed with some crunchy chunky bits but the chicken underneath was visible - NOT at all like the pictures where the chicken is fried and coated in crunchy layers, and not at all what we normally get at other stores. Disappointed, but quick and easy on the go.

Toilets were disgusting. Male toilet was useable, but overall looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while due to the black splattering on the walls. No soap in the dispenser, desperately in need of some cleaning. Female toilet has no toilet paper and was (reportedly from partner) much worse than the male ones and NOT useable.

I wish I took more photos, but we went to the bathrooms after eating and we didn’t have time to stick around. Worth noting there’s black spots on the ceiling (rain damage? Mould? Unclear) in the dining area too -...

My frequent visits to Red Rooster in Kelvin Grove have been consistently excellent, making it a standout choice, especially given its 24/7 operation. As a shift worker, finding quality food options during the early hours is a challenge, and this location meets that need superbly.

The customer service at this Red Rooster is exceptional. No matter what time I arrive, whether it's late night or early morning, I am always greeted with a smile and friendly demeanor. The staff's consistent professionalism and warmth make each visit enjoyable.

As for the food, it is always cooked fresh and tastes delicious. Having tried many Red Rooster outlets throughout Queensland, I can confidently say this one is my favourite. The quality of the meals here never fails to impress, making it my top choice for a satisfying meal after a long shift.

Red Rooster Kelvin Grove is great! I consistently go here as it’s convenient living in Kelvin Grove Village. Also, KFC down the road butttt, Rooster is better. Their chips are usually good, hot and salted. Their burgers are good and made well. The chicken is nice and also their potato and gravy when it is made well, which is usually most times if you go in rather than a late night. I’ve ordered dine in, take out, and delivery and all options come through normally 9/10 experiences.
