Gong Cha | Market Square — Attraction in Brisbane City

Went there today (14/11/2020) at exactly 2.30pm at the market square branch. There was a long line, everyone in the line waited for a long time just to order, and then right after we ordered, a bunch of people who were clearly the waitress’s friends came in and order, and so she prioritised their order first and in total, we waited approx 20 mins or more just to order tea and get our tea when her friends got them in a span of 5 mins?

When asked the waitress why the order took so long, she said, because taro milk tea ran out. Which was clearly a lie, because she gave her friend who ordered AFTER everyone, taro milk tea first. Please note that in total we purchase hundreds of milk teas from this place in a span of a few months, but that will definitely stop for now as clearly your employee does not know how to serve customers. What a joke!! Bad service and rude server. I ordered my drink and wanted to scan my membership and the server is like, what? Anyway, I scanned my card but it didn’t register and the server was asking for my payment. I asked him whether my card scanned and he had this disgusting look like what I am asking is way over and it is not allowed. Anyway he then proceeded to rebook his machine and 5 minutes later informed me that it cannot be scanned. No apology or any reason or remedy. It is like take it or ‘go away’ attitude. I cannot believe this kind of service still exists or tolerated these days. Needless to say, I left without purchasing my drink. Ordered a lychee oolong tea with standard sugar and no ice, paid extra 80 cents for lychee pearls and was not particularly busy around the period i was ordering. First off the drink seemed extremely rushed, liquid all over the cup and lid. After i got home with the drink i went to take a sip when i came across the second and third problem, the tea had no sugar and had no extra lychee pearls in it (that i paid almost $1 extra for).
