This is a very popular and busy boardwalk linking Kangaroo Point back along pathways to Southbank. The riverwalk is a series of shelters and pedestrian areas along the river edge with absolute views across to the old Botanic Gardens and Brisbane CBD. The walkway is narrow in places, so care required to negoiate with bikes and scooters. Some parking available at Captain Burke Park.

Excellent walkway along the river from Story Bridge to South Bank. The path is mostly separated from the adjacent bike path so you aren’t dodging cyclists as you walk, and it provides excellent views over the CBD. A great way to fill in a few hours on a sunny day.

Hallo, der Riverwalk ist ein netter und schöner zum großen Teil Holzplanken Weg , der dort beginnt wo der Kangaroo Point aufhört und geht nach ca. einem halben Kilometer in den Boardwalk über, der dann bis zur Southbank führt. Auf dieser Strecke gibt es schöne kleine Holz Pavillons und viele Sitzgelegenheiten. Von den meisten Punkten hat man einen super Blick rüber zur CBD oder zum Botanischen Garten. Der Weg ist überwiegend schattig angelegt, sauber und sicher. Ich bin hier unzählige male lang gelaufen und es war immer sehr entspannend. Der Riverwalk ist echt gut gemacht, immer einen Spaziergang wert.
