I had two scans in this centre and every time was getting worse. I had my 8 weeks scan in this centre and they incorrectly wrote the figures about my pregnancy's. In the report, they wrote I had perigestational haemorrhage 46x44x16mm. I went to Mater private hospital for a review, then found out the size was about 4.6x4.4x1.6mm.
Second time, a discrimination from their centre's reception to a sick kid. My daughter was sick and had a fever. We understand during the Covid-19 pandemic, we should be responsible for ourselves and the people who were near us. Therefore when we went to this centre for a chest x-ray, my daughter and myself wore a facial mask and when we entered in the centre, I put my daughter in a seat in the corner even there was no one in the waiting room, then I went to the reception. When I registered for the scan, the reception said that I have to provide the details for my daughter's school and the class. As I noticed this was not the normal information required for a scan, I asked if the information is necessary for the scan. I said I understand it's a crazy time for everyone and I'm happy for them to contact my GP if they have any concerns. However the reception refused to contact my GP and blamed me that I didn't care them and their health because I didn't tell them where my daughter's school is. A radiographer came and said it's ok for us to come in, without this radiographer, I didn't think my daughter can get the x-ray that she needed. The doctor reviewed the images quickly after the x-ray and confirmed that my daughter had a pneumonia which different with the Covid-19. The reception heard the result at the same time, but I didn't receive a Sorry from her. I wrote a letter to their compliant officer for this discrimination, however no one got back to me.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreRe: thx for the clarification below my GP explained to me as well today the report result will be uploaded to E-health but i can always ask for a printout or access the image online like you said below which I havenāt been told and not aware of. šIt was my 1st time to the Queensland X ray hopefully next time receptionist will be a bit more proactive n provide more details like the owner did below šThe overall experience and the radiologist were good but the reception lady wearing glasses was a bit confusing; when I asked do you upload image to my health record and she told me no Queensland x ray doesnāt upload image you have to ask your doctor. But when I checked the website it actually tells me the image will be uploaded to my health record š¤not a big issue but maybe next time instead of giving misleading info to customer she can always double check with other staffs or the supervisor in charge first š just a little advise as there were no people waiting in line at the time around 12:00 pm...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just called to try and make an appointment for my 16 month old child. The receptionist could not understand what I was asking, which was a very simple question, ācan you tell me what the procedure is for a hip X-ray for a 16 month old?āAfter placing me on hold to speak with a technician she explained to me that my child would have to lay still on the bed for two quick pictures to be taken, when I explained to her that a 16 month old would not have the ability to lay down still, in an unfamiliar environment and questioned as to weather or not there was another way in which the x-ray could be taken, she said ānot sureā, when I asked if I could please speak with a technician, her response was āuhhhhhh yeah, maybe not now you knowā. Very unprofessional...
