On Monday 23rd 2023, My son and I and my mother were served by the most rude staff I have ever met she spoke to us rudely, while taking our orders and speaking to us very disrespectful especially with my son who has a disability and then also to my mother telling her no I am taking the orders together and then doing the payments, I have never been served like that before at this muffin break before I wouldn’t come back here again I find that the one out at Coffs Harbour plaza is much better and has more better service and polite staff. I need to change my review since the new owners have taken over and sadly there has been quite a drop in service. The regular baristas are fantastic as always and the coffee is great when made by them but there has been a drop in the food, the muffins feel dry, not fresh and waiting up to 20 minutes of a morning for a coffee if regular baristas aren't on, service isn't what it used to be sadly, seems to be no urgency in anything and no effort from the owners to get to know their regular customers and their orders. Stopped in for a quick bite on my travels. The staff were nothing but lovely and super accommodating. The continuity of the cafe to other cafes in muffin break is awesome and it’s great being able to get my usual at each place.The young baker that’s there, I didn’t catch her name but she exceeded expectations with her muffins.
