Zippy Cafe & Juice Bar — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Food has gone down hill over the past year. Angus beef bugger is really bad, the beef patty is normally dry and looks and tastes like it’s come out of a years long freeze. Chips have normally been ok, but noticed that they’ve diminished in quality too, they seem to be using old oil. Chicken wraps are also not great, wouldn’t recommend. The frustrating part is prices have gone up and quality has gone down :( the staff are great though but food is letting them down, at least...

The Seafood Combo was very average.

Chips were good, fish pieces were good but the Calamari rings were dreadful.

Unsure what they use for calamari rings but the quality is worse than the frozen calamari at the super markets, it was soft and mushy and didn't taste like squid.

Since this isn't a fish and chip shop you can't really expect good F&C.

The other meals we ordered were good hence the 4 star rating but I'd steer clear of their Fish & Chips...

One simple coffee +15 mins and still waiting must lacking staff. One taking orders one on sandwiches nobody making coffee........ Atmosphere 2 it's southport. Coffee 2/10 must use cheap nasty beans or stale from being left out and don't put away every day......, 7/11 coffee 4/10 , for great coffee go try Daark Espresso- very well staffed Labrador or Bambi coffee...
