Labrador Beach — Attraction in Gold Coast City

I love the little beaches along the Broadwater in Labrador and Biggera Waters- but during prime holiday season the area near Ian Dipple Lagoon is dreadful. Not only is it crowded, but people leave their trash lying around (and yes, there are plenty on bins), play loud music which spoils it for everyone (surely this should be banned?), parking is an absolute nightmare, and many holiday-makers are rude. Best place to visit of an evening during the week. It was so peaceful on monday night, and the two Ladies who were singing you definitely sounded like angels.... You didnt know, i tried to hold it all in so no one would ask if i was okay,. I was having a very emotional evening after some devastating news of a dear friend, but your voices were just what i needed at that EXACT time. So thankyou for helping my soul heal...

We regularly visit. Low tide is best so the lagoon forms with the sandbar. The children love swimming here. There are fish in the lagoon Good shade. Recommend arriving early. 8am or earlier. Difficult to get parking but we park across the main road near the oval. Coffee is great...
