I love going for a walk up to a lookout and then just standing in there and admiring the view. Well, this place was certainly one of those places. Down at the far end of the Gold Coast you get some magnificent views right up to Surfer's Paradise. In fact, from here, Surfers seriously looks like Stargate Atlantis, and anything that looks like the city from what was an awesome television show does sit well with me.

Great spot to watch the surfers out on the break, the walkway "Ocean way" below the Lookout is nice and there are Bush Turkeys (don't feed them) to see and if you are looking and lucky you might see a Eastern Water Dragon lizard sunning itself on the rocks! (Evidently they are partial to cashew nuts and blue berries and squashed grapes).

Great spot to explore and see the fantastic beaches of the Goldy. Awesome place to take a photo at sunrise and sunset. You can also use the pinwheel to see locations and distances to beaches and places. It's also a great to stop and see the sites after walking through from Kirra to Dbah.

Great destination if you are cycling on the Goldcoast. The north facing view is fantastic being able to see the Goldcoast CBD in the distance and almost to the Spit beach. There is parking for about 20 cars within 30 metres of the viewing platform. If you are walking up to the viewing platform it's a steep walk. You could not push a wheelchair up. Hope this helps a little and great views on...

Check what time sunset is and head on down about an hour prior to get a good spot to take it all in. If you are lucky you can see a pod of dolphins swimming around just enjoying the waves which makes the sunset and view even more amazing and enjoyable. Talk a walk nearby to the many coves and pop in to the surf club and rainbow bay or...
