Keyhole Pizza — Local services in Gold Coast City

I love pizza and when I found this little hidden pizza place I SOOO wanted it to be good. It took a few weeks before we were able to come as a family, but based on the descriptions of the pizzas I was expecting something delicious. We ordered two pizzas and to say we were underwhelmed doesn't even come close to describing it. We chose the more expensive "Veggie Bomb" without pineapple rather than the regular Veggie pizza. It had hardly any toppings. Like I am talking one cherry tomato cut in half for the whole pizza. They use rocket/arugula to cover up the fact that they have hardly anything on the pizzas. No olives for a veggie pizza that describes itself as having "all the veggies" is insane. And the bases. They were the toughest bases I have ever eaten in my life. Store bought pizzas are better than this. My kids love pizza and they refused to eat more than half a slice. I found chewing the bases tedious and in the end I was doing it just to not waste the $28 per pizza. I mean, in this area, you can get amazing pizzas for this price from places like Balboas in Palm Beach or Galileos in Banora Point and Bassk in Coolangatta. These pizzas are a waste of time and money. You pay premium pizza price for what is worse quality than McCains in the supermarket. It took 1hr to get our pizzas after ordering and I couldn't be more disappointed. I am astonished that this place has so many 1* reviews. Maybe they used to be good, but man, this was embarrassing. I work as an Uber driver and I had the worst experience in almost 2 years in Australia. I accepted a double order from this establishment yesterday. When Uber sends a double order, we have to wait for both orders to be ready to make the deliveries. Before picking up the 2 orders, Uber does not release the delivery addresses. Well, the first order was ready and the owner of the establishment told me to go deliver the order and come back to pick up the second one. I didn't understand very well because my English is not good. He kept saying: "GO, GO". Luckily for me, my husband was in the car and since he speaks English a little better, he came to help me. When my husband tried to explain the Uber delivery procedure, the owner told him in an arrogant and prejudiced way: "I'M THE OWNER HERE AND I TOLD YOU TO GO, SO GO". My husband explained the second time and he kept saying that he was the owner and BLA BLA BLA. As a customer, I will never go to this place and as a delivery driver, I will hardly go either. I would like to tell the owner that we are not idiots, we just don't speak English very well. Hubby and I had our baby shower over the weekend and we got the event catered by Keyhole. I cannot thank Anthony and Luke enough, Anthony and I messaged lots leading up to the event because the weather has been unpredictable. He was soooo helpful and had all the time in the world. We’ve also eaten there a few times and Luke always makes us giggle and is keen for a chat.

The food was amazingggg and a lot of the guests were asking me where the food was from and saying it was delish!!
