Absolutely Disgusted with my treatment today. I ordered 2 takeaway coffees at the Coolangatta Coffee Club this morning I was served by Reaarn, I believe she was the stand in manager. My wife and I waited for about 15 minutes and then I checked with Reaarn, she said they wont be long. I waited another 10 minutes and noticed others who had ordered coffee long after I did were receiving their coffees I asked the Barista how much longer mine would be, she asked what were they and I told her, she replied I have no orders for these coffees. I told the manager and she said, oh we have had problems with the computer in the past few weeks. I said why did you tell me they were on their way, she obviously hadn’t checked. I was annoyed and asked for my money back as I wasn’t impressed. My money was slammed on the counter and I said that she is not very professional, I was yelled at and called a rude pig in front of all the customers and was told never to come back. I walked off with my change. She then approached my wife and continued to abuse me to my wife calling me a rude pig and she never wanted me to come back. My wife was upset. Several customers approached us after this altercation and could not believe that customers could be treated this way. I have since found out that Reearn is the manager of the South Tweed Coffee Club, so obviously we would not be welcome their either. Well I will never go back. I have been a Coffee Club member for many years and we have bought 4 cups of coffee a day, 7 days a week for the past 2 years from the Coolangatta Coffee Club. We visited this Coffee Club on Friday 10th March. It wasn't that busy at 11am but we waited for 30 minutes for one tea and one coffee. My friend went in to remind them of our order. New customers arrived and were getting their meals and drinks before us.
What I noticed was, the girl making coffee was doing a great job making drinks but there was no back up for her. There was one waitress running food & serving coffee in cups without saucers and there was an older lady that was just fluffing around making sure one table was ok and had water. There was only one person that I could see in the kitchen. There was a huge pile of dirty coffee cups and saucers just sitting there on the front counter.
After another 20 minutes of watching takeaway coffees and drinks leaving, I went up and told the girl making coffee that I would wait for our order at the counter and that I would like a saucer for my coffee.
We also ordered lunch and part of the order was wrong. Also the front fridge wasn't working so we were given a warm bottle of water.
Really disappointed as I had driven an hour to get there from up the coast and the friend I hadn't seen in 40 years had driven an hour from Lennox. So embarrassed, as I was the one that chose Coffee...

Had the pancakes if that's what you can call them, mango and coconut pancakes if you can even call it mango 100% came from a can 100% most budget can of mango again if it was mango, it was horrible. Pancakes, paid $5 extra for "the stack" the second pancake was smaller than the first which was actually a god send cause they tasted horrible. Best part of the pancakes was the ice cream and the syrup. Extra $6 for TWO bits of bacon was one decent size piece of bacon definitely not 2 like stated. Also got a smoothie and words describe the disappointed taste it left in my mouth. Spent $69 (haha) for two people including drinks. Size vs price comparison damn inflation must be as crazy as tax. I have been to many coffee clubs in New Zeland and this was my first experience in Australia and now I will never trust them again. I would highly recommend that nobody wastes there money or time or taste buds going to what I would class as the worst coffee club I have eaten at in my 35 years on this earth.
