Rainbow Bay — Attraction in Queensland

Absolutely worth a look!!! Went here, while we were holidaying in Surfers Paradise, on the advice of our Hotel Receptionist and was glad we made the drive out there. One of the prettiest GC beaches, famous surfing off the point, also great for me to teach you surfing mid way down. Watch out for rips if swimming if there's a bit of swell, beach is patrolled. Plenty of sand and space, showers and toilet with great grassy section with gas BBQ's. Parking right there but be patient. Walk around Greenmount headland for a cool little spot in the corner. Beautiful beach whether just relaxing or going for a wave. The fish n chip shop just down the road is the best I have been to in Australia (big claim I know) or the SLSC (pics of sunset are from the balcony) are both awesome wee spots to grab a feed.
