Love this spot. Amazing view of the sea, Tweed bar and beaches. Great spot for whale watching. I pulled up in the van on the little road next to the park and whipped out the awning and chairs for a fab chill afternoon on a weekday. Weekends it would be packed as no parking restrictions that i could see. Drive further and you can get to one of the best surfing beaches in Oz. Take some shade if you don't have an awning.

Great little dog friendly beach in Tweed Heads. Can get a little crowded at times so if your dog doesn’t get along with other dogs then probably not the best place to take them. There are a number of parks and open grassland behind the beaches which are perfect for dogs to be let of their leashes and exercised etc. Just keep them away from the sunbathing lizards.. they can get a little cranky : )

Duranbah Beach sits at Danger Point alongside the mouth of the Tweed River and around the corner from Snapper Rocks at the end of surfers Paradise. Its a great surf beach that will pick up swell alot more than the Surfers Paradise beaches. Duranbah has many surf breaks that can be of high quality. Also a great sandy beach and loverly area for a beach picnic or swim. Worth checking out.

Definitely a beautiful spot to visit, with a small beach and seating areas perfect for a family picnic on the left, and Duranbah Seawell for a walk on the right. Toilets are located nearby at Ebenzer Park, but beware of crowds from the local surfing community when swells are good, eg parking can be a problem at times. 😊😊😊

It's a great spot to watch the surfers when the swell is up. I have found that Duranbah does get a bunch of debris on the beach after storms. Its most likely from run off from the Tweed river. Parking can also be an issue on the busy days. Toilets and change room are nearby if required.
