This is a hidden little gem of a place to play and picnic! It has a separate entrance to the main park, so is way less busy. There are plenty of paths that you could walk to quickly come out to the main avenues.
Plenty of parking and grass and a number of BBQ and pavilions. There are various playgrounds and equipment to climb all over and explore. There are even some concrete cricket wickets.
A downside is that there is only one bin...there are plenty of signs saying there is a bin station, but it is hard to find and is not central. (They are near the entrance near the cafe). There could definitely stand to be more bins.
There is a cafe on site and plenty of toilets cubicles. 🚻
The park is pretty tidy. Watch out for ants. 🐜 Painful when they get ya!
