I recently dined at Waterside Thai restaurant in Mandurah and was absolutely blown away by the flavors and presentation of their dishes. The Pad Thai with mixed seafood was truly exceptional - the noodles were perfectly cooked and the seafood was fresh and delicious. The flavors were rich and balanced, making it one of the best Pad Thai dishes I have ever had.
But the highlight of the meal was definitely the flambe banana dessert. The waiter brought out the dish and lit it on fire right in front of us, creating a spectacle that was as impressive as it was delicious. The bananas were caramelized to perfection and topped with a scoop of creamy ice cream. It was a truly memorable end to an already fantastic meal.
Overall, I highly recommend Waterside Thai restaurant for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Thai cuisine. The Pad Thai with mixed seafood and the flambe banana dessert were both outstanding and I will definitely be returning to try more...
Read moreThe atmosphere was ok, it was nice by the water but the food was very disappointing. The sauces tasted like they came out of a jar. No fresh tasting herbs or sprices and not a spec or coriander to be seen. The massaman beef was disappointing, not particularly tender. A large jasmine rice pot was half filled and we had to order another one, there were 4 of is dining. We ordered the ginger garlic barramundi that was $28, for a small fillet of fish , the bbq chicken satay that was artificial sauce from a jar and again a small fillet of chicken, pad Thai vegetable, you could hardly find any vegetables. My husband had a beer (on Tap), it was not fresh, he said it was weak in flavour. I won’t be going back! I should have known it wasn’t going to be any good when there were only a couple of others dining there on a busy...
Read moreCelebrated my baby shower there amid the indoor mask mandate, but that didn't dampen the experience at all. The venue is right beside the water and the ambience and atmosphere is lovely. The service was incredibly welcoming, friendly, attentive and helpful. Very obliging with taking photos.
The food was amazing. We had satay, fish cakes and spring rolls for entrees. I recommend the fish cakes. For mains we had pork belly (the absolute star of the night), chicken cashew nut (yummy), chicken red curry (medium spice, nice kick to it), beef massaman curry (also very yummy), pad thai, prawn fried rice (very generous with the prawns that were huge) and duck fried rice (duck was a little dry). For drinks we had ice Thai milk tea, which was lovely. Just remember to stir or it'll be too sweet.
Would definitely...
