Lovely spot. Lunch in the garden with mum as an early Mother's Day to avoid the crowd. A few too many seagulls for my liking but they didn't try for the food on my plate which is just as well. Yummy steak sandwich and mum had gnocchi with rabbit and mushrooms. Very nice and relaxing. Update: A revisit for mum's 92nd birthday and we had beer battered fish and chips plus crispy skinned barramundi and a couple of glasses of prosecco. The beer batter was light and tasty with the fish nicely cooked. Chips were plentiful and the salad and tartare sauce finished the dish. Yum! The barramundi was delicious and served on a bed of mash with broccolini and some prawns. This dish was finished with a lovely lemon butter sauce. Staff were there when needed and the venue had some road noise but this is hard to avoid in the location. The beer garden on a warm winter's day is to be recommended.

We tried 4 dishes and I was so disappointed the garlic creamy prawns had zero garlic. The sauce was tasteless but the prawns themselves were cooked well. The chefs either served with the wrong sauce or someone needs to taste the one they are sending out. The chipostle on the corn was not too good either. The corn and chips were good though. Management please take the QR codes off the tables. I sat for 10 minutes trying to get it to work only to be told you don’t use them anymore. Take them off or put a cross over them if you may use in the future. Nice atmosphere and it’s huge out the back with rabies and chairs so good for a large crowd.

Great mixed grill. Cooked to perfection and with more than expected in both meat and vegies. Wine and beer selection good but no table service. An extended large outdoor garden is now a highlight feature at the rear of the place. Has picked up its game since last visit and would recommend a visit soon. Be warned. Parking out back is private and subject to clamping however - if you go to the bar you can get a pass with your order to avoid a painful $100 fine and inconvenience

I was looking forward to this evening out with my girlfriend, but unfortunately was a bit disappointed. The 'starters' wedges, not a complicated dish (if you can call wedges a dish) were not crispy and a few minutes undercooked. Then the chili sauce was runny, like water which leaked off wedges after being dipped in. Twice on my clothes! I had to eat them with my head over the table like an actual main meal. Of course, the table had many subsequent drips of this sauce. I took it back and they said it must have been a mistake on the kitchen's behalf. A really simple, but very poor mistake. The replacement sauce was like it should be. Thick, and stuck to our wedges as we ate. In regards to my girlfriend's steak with chips and salads with a mushroom sauce. The steak with thick sauce was on top of half the chips, making them soggy, rather than put to the side. Having them hot and crispy. Both mine and my girlfriend's chips tasted less than hot, like they had been sitting there for more than 5 minutes after being cooked, before served. I hope this can be put down to it being the busiest time (most likely) of the whole week although these are rookie mistakes to be honest, but whilst not disgraceful, the customer service was average compared to all the other restaurants we had been to in recent months. Not what I expect at all from a restaurant in such an...

Booked in for lunch today for Mother's day.... Entered the restaurant which was not full, staff looked stressed on arrival, no proper greeting or smile, told where our table was and had to direct our own way there.

Waited at least five minutes before offered only menus no water then another wait to be offered drinks at which point we were told it was going to be 1.5hrs for food! Ok we thought restaurant not overly busy so maybe that time has shortened but rushed to order entree and mains. Asked at this time for the 2 kids meals to come out quickly as the kids were hungry.

30 minutes later entrees arrive.... Not the nicest, battered prawns tasted like from a box and chorizo overly greasy and not crisp. Waitress even tried to clear the plates before the food even finished.

Finished first drinks, asked to order more..... Waited 5 minutes then had to go inside to the bar to order our own drinks as the staff had I guess forgotten about us.

Kids getting grumpy as still no kids meals.... Over 1.5 hours later.... Nearly 2 hours no food so went in to check....... Only just starting to cook our meals! Left after no real explanation given and went down the road to the Brighton for drinks and delicious meals in 20minutes should of gone there first!!

Will definitely not return or recommend. What a disappointing start to...

The day before our wedding they cancelled our wedding reception even though weddings and funerals could go ahead due to covid Which was fine we understood. Then called us back and encouraged us to go ahead with it due to them prepping all of the food and them not wanting it to go to waste. So after cancelling on our guests we then had to reach out to all of them to say “jokes it’s back on”

TWO HOURS PRIOR to our wedding reception the owner called and cancelled on us. If it was a regular booking we would be 100% okay but they knew exactly what we were coming in for and to cancel two hours prior on someone’s wedding day is absolutely disgusting. Covid has been a hard time on businesses but other local businesses have been incredibly accommodating. It wasn’t cancelled due to a government rule, it was cancelled because the owner decided not to put staff on.

You should of kept the reception cancelled it would of been a lot less heartbreaking and saved us a lot of time going back and forth with our guests. Our wedding day was already stressful with covid lockdown being sprung the night before but due to your poor business choices it made it a whole lot...
