Awesome Skatepark, But Needs Better Maintenance

This skatepark has a fantastic layout with ramps, rails, and bowls that cater to all skill levels. It's great for beginners or an experienced skater, there's plenty of space to practice tricks and skate around. The atmosphere is usually great, with a mix of skaters and scooter riders.

However, the park could really use better upkeep. There’s quite a bit of trash scattered around, which takes away from the otherwise great environment. The washrooms are in pretty bad shape and could use more frequent cleaning. There are also some homeless individuals sleeping on the grass, which isn’t necessarily an issue, but it does make the area feel a little less welcoming at times.

Overall, it’s a solid spot for skating with tons of potential—if only the maintenance was...

This park is incredible & means a lot to myself & alot of other locals.

My best friends ashes are mixed with the grass/dirt/ & concrete used to build this park. We use to basically lived at the skatepark back in 2005/06.

Between the old Momentum store & the Skate Park, the special memories will last & hopefully this park holds similar value to the next generation who use it..

Bonus Points: The grass is extra, the family/play areas, the toilets, The whole place is well done & appreciated.

It will forever be a very special part...

A fantastic space for kids of all ages to gain skills and confidence it would be awesome if parents could keep their kids off that aren't actually scootering/skating. I understand kids want to run around but watching the near misses is scary the kids shouldn't have to be dodging RC cars and random runners....
