The stained glass artwork is the most beautiful i have ever seen in my life. It depicts the life of the Virgin Mary, from little girl, to her adult life in the familiar blue headdress, to her ascension with her hair flowing gloriously. Stunningly detailed with subtle artistic subtext. However there were very few people inside, the website is not that easy to find information on and there don't seem to be any toilets. Easy parking.

Beautiful, catholic Basilica in Melbourne, situated on a hill in Camberwell. White marble statue of Mary and the child Jesus absolutely divine, as is the whole church interior and exterior. Lovely and dedicated organist here also worth mentioning. May Our Lady of Victories, intercede for us 💙.

It is a grand Basilica of Our Lady of Victory. Attenbed a funeral. Beautiful appointed Basilica with stain glass windows. The organ is magnificent.

Description
Our Lady of Victories Basilica is a Roman Catholic church located in the Melbourne suburb of Camberwell. Romanesque Revival in style, it was designed by architect Augustus Andrew Fritsch and was completed in 1918. It is one of five churches in Australia with minor basilica status.
