Read moreThe Teskey Brothers with Orchestra Victoria, Emma Donovan and The Putbacks. We booked in seated section and chose front row of second tier and ending on an aisle which gave us a wide space in front of us. I would recommend these seat to anyone attending a staged concert as still very close to stage. I attended with my daughter, my grandson (17)and another friend we parked at Arts centre very easy and reasonably priced. I have difficulty walking and use a stick so when we parked it wasn't that easy to find lifts, found some stairs 3 flights not ideal, however came out at front of Arts centre. and I also have a lung condition so can't walk very far, we crossed from the Art's Centre over and up to Linlithgow Ave the queue was extremely long fortunately the courtesy Golf cart was available and took my daughter and I up to accessible entry where we were met and checked through with great courtesy and speed, facilities were pointed out, all I all a great start to a great night. The whole show was brilliant, we have been big fans of the Teskey bros for some time but to see them live with a full orchestra was something special, love Emma Donovan's style, Melbourne turned on the best weather a very balmy night with a gentle breeze. Would recommend S M Bowl as a venue for me now has to be seated but have been before with a picnic and used the lawn. A very mixed age group in crowd and a most people wore masks when moving around which was required' very happy to see. Well...
Read moreSo the Sydney Myer Music Bowl has been in Kings Domain Park since 1959. It has reserved seating for about 2000 and lawn seating for about 11000. Lawn seating or standing is fine if it's a nice day but I'm here after a downpour and whole area is a soggy soggy mess. But I did wear my old runners in anticipation! Never again but tonight seeing the Hoodoo Gurus concert and won the tix so shouldn't complain but I'm not, I'm reviewing! Though when I was young I saw Dire Straits here and I was on lawn and couldn't see and couldn't care less. Heaps of food trucks offering usual burgers, chips, donuts, pizza, Mexican and a vegan hummus bowl outlet that was the quietest of the lot. The bathrooms well they have been there since 1959 and it shows. Good lord they need an upgrade. Myer Music Bowl easy 10 min walk from Flinders Street station and pass some beautiful sites along way. However it is an OH&S nightmare because other than the stage and the food outlets the place is pitch black, maybe they could put some dimlights around?? 11.2.23 well it's good being here in fine weather seeing Icehouse with support by Eskimo Joe who were excellent. From food trucks husband and I got chips and hot jam donuts, Greek style chicken and salad and coffee. ICEHOUSE! 2.12 Teskey Brothers which I'm not into but husband likes so here I am. I'm actually not really fan of this venue, queues too long (15 mins for chips), very muddy, undercover still get rained on, grrrr and this...
