I recently visited Black Dingo Café, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots in town. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying some quiet time with a good book. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.

The coffee is top-notch, brewed to perfection every time. I tried their signature blend, and it was rich, smooth, and full of flavor. The food menu offers a great variety of options, from delicious breakfast choices to hearty lunch dishes. I particularly enjoyed the chicken baguette – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

One thing to note is the new council regulation that restricts pets to the verandah outside. While it's a bit of a bummer not being able to bring my dog inside, the verandah is a lovely spot, and it's nice to see that pets are still welcome there.

Overall, Black Dingo Café is a gem. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's definitely worth a visit. Can't wait...

Okay, seriously, if you haven't been to Black Dingo Cafe at Point Danger yet, you're missing out! This place is an absolute gem. It used to be just a little kiosk run by VMR, tucked under the Captain Cook Memorial, but wow, have they transformed it! Now, it's a proper cafe, and the first thing that hits you is the view. Whether you're chilling inside or out on the deck, it's just spectacular. You could sit there all day just staring at the ocean. But it's not just about the view. The staff are awesome – super friendly and on the ball. Even when they're busy, you barely wait for your food, which is a huge plus. And when your meal arrives, prepare to be impressed! The portions are generous, and everything I've tried has been absolutely delicious. Honestly, Black Dingo Cafe is the perfect spot to grab a bite, soak in those incredible views, and just relax. You...

The view is beautiful, the açaí bowl was really good, and the pork belly baguette was nice too. Unfortunately, the service left us feeling a bit uncomfortable. We’re not sure if the person who served us was the owner, a supervisor, or a manager, but she didn’t seem very welcoming to us.

It felt like there was a difference in how she interacted with us compared to other tables, where she appeared friendlier and more engaging. We couldn’t help but notice. We waited in line as the sign instructed, expecting to be shown to a table, but no one came — we ended up finding a spot outside on our own. Thankfully, we got a table, but the lack of warmth in the service was disappointing.

It’s a beautiful place with potential, but the overall experience could really be improved with a bit more friendliness and attention...

Black Dingo CafĂ© is an absolute gem near Coolangatta a must-visit if you’re in the Tweed area! The view alone is worth the trip: stunning coastal outlooks that make you want to sit and stay all day. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, with friendly staff who make you feel truly welcome. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour I had a perfectly balanced brunch that hit the spot. The coffee? Next-level legendary. Smooth, strong, and made with real care , easily one of the best cups I’ve had on the east coast! Bonus points for the spacious layout, dog-friendly vibe, and local produce used in their menu. Whether you’re after a peaceful solo coffee, a brunch date, or a spot to impress visiting friends Black Dingo delivers. Can’t wait to come back!
