Jaze was a little disappointed that the playground she liked, where she first learned to cross the monkey bars, was gone. :( But both kids liked the new playground at the Jack Evans Boat Harbour park. 🛝 The playground includes a big curly tunnel slide, Mum+Baby swing, skate path, water play area, musical toys, BBQs and tables and more. It also fully fenced, which takes a little stress away from those with runaway toddlers. Even for those of us that don't have a boat, it's a great spot. You could easily spend a whole day there, playing at the playground, walking along the boardwalk, swimming, having lunch at Twin Towns Services club (there is a food court and restaurants) and dinner at Selfish Fish 'n' Chips or vise versa... And of course it's a very small walk to the Tweed Mall, Ten Pin Bowls,🎳the border monument, Coolangatta and beaches. 🏖 It's also a great spot to enjoy the New Years Fireworks. 💫 As someone mentioned though, it can be slippery. In fact, Tanner once jumped down onto a rock and slipped backwards hitting his head :/ Take care.

BE AWARE OF THIS SLIPPY SEAWALL!!!! I know this place looks calm and peaceful. However, after I took this picture, this lady had a fall from slippy seawall, and her legs were seriously cut by oyster and sharp rock. She ended up in an emergency, and got stitches. So please be aware of the environment at any time, or just stay away from the seawall and peace in mind.

Great spot to swim and frolic around. Super shallow and calm, for the love of god don’t bring a big boat in here. Also, no overnight mooring so you need to get out by sunset. It’s also a 4 knot zone. There’s excellent nature diving just outside the entryway into the harbour with easy access.

If you drive over the border and head up towards point danger look out the Boyd's Bay is still on your right there is a giant park adjacent with a new giant kids playground if your a parent with toilets water showers as part of the boat harbour...further along towards D bah Beach is a scuba diving platform to get in out and on the left still with the Boyd's Bay on right is a couple of acres of vacant block where you can camp overnight and not get harassment from authorities....the back of twin towns services club are showers and drink water also a good place to swim on a high tide a nice part of the tweed with Coolangatta...
