Visiting markets at Glebe was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the sweet sounds of live music, which set the perfect tone for a day filled with fun and excitement. The market is home to a variety of stalls offering everything from art and crafts to handmade goods and local food. It was so refreshing to see so many talented artisans and craftsmen showcasing their unique creations. I particularly enjoyed browsing through the handmade crochet potted flowers stalls - the quality and attention to detail was simply amazing. One of the highlights of the market for me was definitely the local food stalls. The smell of fresh coffee, baked goods, dumplings, crepes and rolls filling the air and I couldn't resist trying a few different things. The overall atmosphere of the market was fantastic, with a real sense of community spirit and excitement. There were families, couples, and groups of friends all enjoying themselves and taking in the vibrant energy of the market.

Great place to shop, but be careful of people asking you to sign up to help women who don't get paid enough who make clothes for Target/Kmart etc. This is a sham! the young lady in the pic approached me and ask to to sign her ipad to help these women being ripped off! I asked her is my information going to be sold off? She said no,I said are you sure? she said yes I'm sure I said "so your 100% sure I'm not going to have people calling me asking me to donate? she said no. She said they will only call to check I am doing my job.I said Ok I'm trusting you because I am a local and lived here for 49 years! shes said "yes I am sure" Well today I got a phone call while at work for them asking me to donate money! So her saying I don't want your money this is just a petition is A LIE! DO NOT SIGN IT OR GIVE YOUR INFO TO OXFAM! THE PIC BELOW IS WHAT SHE WAS WEARING! The email below is what I was sent also! OXFAM GATHERS YOUR INFO and in the email asks you to spread the word etc! DON'T DO IT!

There's cheap items for $1, $2, 2 for $5, $10 each, etc .. u just gotta look around and find them , sometimes at the end if ur lucky u can get sum free stuff. There's new and used items.u can get a feel of wat to look for once ur there. Every Saturday from 10 am to 3.30pm I wish it could last longer until after 5pm but they leave early so make sure u get there early enough. Parking is on the street only and best place to find parking is near post office on the same street. The food is not that great, about $12 it has very little and a bit high on price so I recommend u bring ur own food or eat outside in a restaurant for d same price.

Worst thing about this market is that there is always a great deal to be had especially in the second hand clothing department. I always leave with a bag full of second-new clothes that are still in style. Food selection is great as well but sometimes prices can be steep. There are plenty of great sustainable friendly vendors too and bespoke jewellery. There’s heaps of cheaper goods cropping up that store owners have obviously preordered from China and are selling but hey, they’re cheap and fun.

Been selling at Glebe Markets for a few months now and I must say this has become our new hangout spot for my wife and I. You ask why? The wonderful atmosphere, the great personalities we meet and the awesome handmade goods you can't find anywhere. As sellers, we cannot thank Naomi and Dave enough for their great support and excellent communication, without fail and on a regular basis. You have given us something to look forward to every weekend. Cheers! Ayat and Abraham

Really good markets with a selection of clothing both old and recycled, plus a good selection of food, drinks and craftware. The markets attract a young demographic which is great for teens and twenty somethings who really embrace the fashion stalls. Glebe itself has a really great eclectic vibe to it, which just adds to the experience. As a footnote we came here after visiting the Paddington Markets which were a real disappointment compared to the Glebe Markets.
