It's a 5/5 from me. I will quaintly refer to it as an op shop on steroids! But let's be honest there's a massive difference between an antique shop & an op shop. I regularly complain about the price of op shops, especially the bigger name chain ones. I found most of what I looked at reasonable priced. A few items of clothing I did raise an eyebrow to. You could literally spend all day in here and not see everything. It is a huge space. If you didn't find something in here you liked, you didn't spend long enough inside lol. The staff are super helpful and more than one offered help, 'if I was ok',' there's a fitting room just there, if u want to try that on'. Some really decent prices from lots of different periods too. Although I was triggered by the loveliest lamp and its description of 'mid century' ( am I really THAT OLD) lol They have dedicated parking onsite in a space next to them. Definitely...

At this point I think my entire living room and half my wardrobe comes from Mitchell Road 😂 If you’re into all things retro / vintage and need to furnish your place, a new-old outfit, records for your vinyl collection, or something you didn't even know you needed, make this your first stop. Enormous selection of quality items displayed in inspiring ways, price ranges to suit all budgets, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and personalised service. I was looking for a few specific pieces, gave some general descriptions to Shane, and either he helped me find it in store or contacted me as soon as something came in. It really doesn’t get much better! Do yourself a favour and get down here. Even if you don’t “need” anything specific, you’ll have a great time wandering down memory lane amongst all the unexpected treasures. And I guarantee you’ll go home with...

Rude customer service. Just spoke to a woman over the phone today and asked if they have a room divider. Was asked how much is my budget - I’m not familiar with that so I just said around $250 (I saw bamboo material screen under that price last time I purchased something from their shop) so it was just my estimation. Online market prices also around that price. Did I asked something antique from 16 centuries ago?? NO! I said ANY! She answered me “We can’t help you with that
. ” with rudeness and arrogantly. Shocking, I’m occasionally purchase furnitures from their shop. The old man in the shop has better customer service and helpful. You should learn from him. I won’t be shopping with them anymore. She just scared me and hurts...

Visited Mitchell Road Antique & Design Centre for the first time ever, and it was such a great experience! As my first time in an antique shop, I was amazed by the vast collection—everything from living room to bedroom pieces, with so much character and charm. There’s a fantastic variety of vintage items to decorate your space or even just explore and find something that truly speaks to your personality or passion. I’d definitely recommend visiting antique shops like this one if you’re looking for something unique, nostalgic, or full of story. A hidden gem for vintage lovers and curious minds alike!

I've been to a couple antique Warehouses around Sydney and this one a long side lunatics is the best places to visit for gem hunts. You can find retro toys, old world porcelain and numerous art poster prints alongside vintage clothing for a fair price. There is a section for books and century old leatherbacks shattered around each individual stores, I found some out of prints for a decent price. I would advise those with dust or sensitivity to mould before entering.
