Hm, I’m really not sure about my experience. The cafe is lovely with gorgeous interior, it’s clean and hygienic and their coffee was ok… however, I felt a little bit disappointed after yesterday’s brunch. First, there is this one and only poor woman on the weekend managing several tables, but also, we had to flag her down after 10 minutes of receiving our coffee. It should usually only take 2-3 minutes to order food after receiving drinks. If everyone is scanning the QR code, you may as well offer to pay while on the phone. The coffee was bought to me in this giant cup but was only filled 3/4 of the way. My friends got “fuller” small glasses filled to the top. Both of my friends and I got similar orders but I was the only one to receive a different glass with it being 3/4 full? The Benny went to Tokyo with moffles was bland and soggy. I understand the concept of moffles but it really just did not taste good eating each component of this dish together or separately. Even with the bacon… the bacon was the only thing on that dish that had flavour (this was an extra and not part of the dish $4 for ~2 pieces). Its a hard pass for me. It actually left me feeling sick for the rest of the day. The moffles should be kept as a dessert. It would be great if this menu item can be improved on. My friends all got nice food but sometimes I feel the menu in general is just for social media and the taste of it has been completely missed.

Read moreAnother must-visit Alexandria café checked off the list! 🔥 This spot comes highly recommended—and it’s easy to see why. The space is bright and spacious, with cute merchandise on display. The folded paper planes hanging from the ceiling really elevate the vibe, and the blue-pink-purple color scheme matches the chairs beautifully.
Here’s what we ordered: ✔️ Soba Beef ($24) – Originally wanted to try the popular prawn pasta, but it’s no longer on the menu. Went with the soba instead. The beef is Korean-style, dark and flavorful. Paired with avocado and cucumber for a refreshing touch. ✔️ Pop Da Prawns ($27) – Hard to go wrong with this one! Fried prawns with a unique batter. Avocado wasn’t the best quality, but the dish overall was decent. Special mention to their cutlery—slicing croissants was smooth and effortless! ✔️ Yimmy Chew Chew ($23) – A creative new dessert featuring waffles and Korean rice cakes, topped with red bean ice cream and roasted soybean paste. Super chewy and rich in texture, though a bit sweet after a few bites. ✔️ Large Flat White ($5.5) – Huge cup! Very satisfying and tastes good. ✔️ Saturn/Sesame Coffee ($11) – Aesthetic black sesame latte with strong visual appeal. A bit hard to mix and slightly overpriced, but still fun to try.
If you grab the table near the entrance, the lighting is perfect for food pics—all mine were taken with no filter! After your meal, you can check out a nearby vintage store or the Lululemon outlet for some great...
Read moreThis Cafe has responded on the closing time issue and shift the focus to blame on Google, so if you read this please bear in mind as the owner presume you know - the restaurant will be closed half an hour earlier, then you decide to go, please prepare you will be blocked away from the door if there is only half an hour left on their closing time.
Also owner explains on staff's chatting and believe it's a positive culture for the business, though ignore the fact as the staff chatting and laughing while customer were waiting outside to be seated. As such there will be no further comments from me on its positive communication culture stand above the customer requirement. Thanks.
Below are original comments:
Got the restaurant about 14:00 (while closing time is 14:30), it wasn't a busy time and standing at the front door about 5 minutes before anyone was coming to us and ask if table is needed. Meanwhile we can see waitress inside chat and laughing with kitchen staff and no care with the customers standing at the front door. Then when waitress came, we were told all food material was used and no food stock for the business for the rest of the day. Wow, this is the first time in my life had this kind of experience that a restaurant has not more food for the customer while still open. I guess the business might be too good to treat a customer in the...
