We had a very disappointing experience here. First, when we called to check whether we needed to book for a pregnancy FGTT test, the receptionist told us it was not necessary and we could just walk in. However, after fasting and coming in, the clinical lab staff said we should have booked. This wasted our time and caused unnecessary stress. Secondly, I provided my private insurance card during one of my visits, but the payment was not processed through it. A month later, I was contacted and asked to pay directly. When I asked why my insurance card hadn’t been charged, the receptionist told me, “This is your responsibility to check whether it was paid or not.” This response was extremely unprofessional and frustrating. If it is truly the patient’s responsibility, then why are we asked to provide an insurance card at the front desk in the first place? Administration, please take necessary action to address these issues — either by providing proper professional training to staff or by recruiting staff who can deliver accurate information and service to patients.

We've been with Dr. Jonas Ilocto since the very beginning of starting our family, and I truly can't imagine a better doctor to have on our side. From prenatal visits to caring for our children as they’ve grown, Dr. Jonas has been with us every step of the way. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and always takes the time to listen—not just to symptoms, but to our concerns, big or small. Whether it’s a routine check-up or a last-minute illness, we always feel like a priority. What stands out the most is the genuine care and compassion we’ve received throughout the years. Dr. Jonas has become more than just a family physician—she’s become a trusted part of our family's journey. She’s adored by our girls, who are always excited to see her. We’re so grateful to have found someone who treats us with such consistent attention and respect. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a long-term family doctor who truly cares.

Worst medical in Sydney wait time is more than two hours in every visit .I booked an appointment for 12:10 and at 2 o’clock we got called . waited almost 2 hours receptionist had no idea whats going on they keep saying its up-to doctor if they can not manage appointments why they take a booking worst experience ever . Even our appointment was in before hours and after almost waiting for 2 hours they charge us more saying after hours charge no shame at all wish I can give 0 star

Today I visit to that medical centre. Very unprofessional staff at reception. I had a dietitian appointment in past few month. I paid for that $56, and even my insurance company also paid for that. After paying twice the receptionist asking me at my every visit that my payment is due. I forward them email two times by my insurance company about the same dietitian fee. But they didn’t update it in the system and today they again asking me for the same amount. After talking again and they check the email that I forwarded them twice. The clinical manager said its now updated. But I am not sure the update or not.

Also they charge me $20 for non attendance fee for the appointment that i made for my husband under my name on 5th December 2023 , abd we attended that appointment same day afternoon. I informed the receptionist that please update that appointment for my husband under my name and she said she will fix it, but she didn’t. And the old lady at reception said you visited only 1st if December after that you didn’t have any visit. After searching my phone i found doctors prescription for my husband and when i show her that she said you didn’t visit its your husband’s appointment but you didn’t visit. I visited with my husband there as that was his booking. Such a careless receptionist who didn’t update. And they should check if that prescription of my husband that where is the booking in the system for the record. That old lady is just don't know how to behave. She said she us not a liar. She knows very well that day she was also there when I attended the appointment of my husband which was under my name. This place is a rip-off.

I am really very disappointed by such kind of unprofessional and...

The MyHealth admin team has displayed a lack of professionalism. A few days ago, I scheduled my daughter’s immunization appointment with Dr. Varuni for Monday morning. Given the importance of immunizations, I took time off from work to ensure I could be there. I arrived exactly at the scheduled time, only to be told by the receptionist that Dr. Varuni wasn't available that day. The staff mentioned that I might have been notified about her absence the previous day, but I never received any such call or message. I always attend calls and check messages, yet no communication was sent to me regarding the cancellation. This not only wasted my time but also showed a complete disregard for the patients' schedules and the importance of clear communication.

If they knew in advance that Dr. Varuni was on leave for some reason, why didn’t they send out system-generated text messages to all the patients who had appointments booked with her? It would have been a simple and efficient way to inform everyone, avoiding unnecessary trips and disruption to our schedules. Failing to provide this basic level of communication reflects poorly on the clinic’s organizational and administrative processes.

My question is, are you going to compensate me for the day off I had to take from work? Due to the lack of proper communication from your side, I wasted my time and missed a full day of work. It's only fair to expect some form of compensation for this inconvenience caused by your...

This review is only based on this particular experience I’ve had which offended and disappointed me the most after being a frequent patient with MyHealth Blacktown.

I would like to say first that Dr. Jonas, Dr. Varuni, and Dr. Sam have been incredible and helpful doctors and appreciate them a lot, it is unfortunate of their limited availability but it is understandable. 5 stars to them all the way.

The unfortunate experience I have had is with Dr. Deb. I have made a couple appointments with him before when my usual doctors weren’t available and he was alright but today, I waited an hour for this appointment and I had received a call from my dentist a while before my name was called. When I heard my name, he saw I was on the phone and I quickly ended my call to proceed my appointment. Dr. Deb said “it’s okay, I will call on the next patient” and I was confused, he rudely said “do you want to proceed with that call or go continue with this appointment?”, of course I wanted to continue my appointment, I ended my call as quick as I could and I’ve waited an hour. In the end, he couldn’t help me with my circumstance and told me to see my usual doctor as they understood my situation better (though there are records on the system). I’ve would’ve been totally okay with the outcome of this if I hadn’t waited an hour and if he wasn’t so rude. I understand he’s busy and seeing patients back to back but I would never speak to anyone...
