I had my engagement party on Jerry Bailey boat. It was one of the most embarrassing and disappointing events of my life. I was looking forward to that night and expected to at least receive what i have been promised and iâve paid for but it was just an absolute disaster that i entered my own party in tears! I was offered a deal that would cover decoration, buffet menu, silver drink package, a dj and paid extra for a photographer. Despite having many offers from different venues eg grands of alexandria and many others with the equivalent price, the consultantsâ nice attitude and over the phone service absolutely gained my trust. I was super nervous for organizing this party therefore i was even asked to go in to take a closer look at the boat in person mamnd i got showed one of their other boats which was already decorated for another party! For me it was very important that the rotten plastic chairs are covered with linen covers and i was shown that they are on my visit... I was 100% sure that they are included in my deal beacuse we even discussed the change of colour! And anything that wasnât included i was advised to pay extra anyways but since this was included she didnât mention anything. In the quote i was also offered 200 dollars worth of helium balloons but they didnât include that untill i had to remind them and also charged me for extra $100 for only a small arch of balloons (about 30 small balloons). On the night, as the boat was getting closer to the vessel the first thing grabbed my guestsâ attention was to appearance of the old black plastic chairs for my big night! They were making jokes saying âimagine this is your boatâ but it was actually my boat! As soon as i saw them i told the director he askes me if i have anything from them that says that they are part of the deal and i showed him the quote email. but he just apologised and said itâs too late now please just enjoy your party and we will get the manager to contact you on Monday! I held my tears back entering my own party with so much disappointment, the next thing i see is the photographer that i have paid for, has rocked up in joggers and sweatshirt for my formal event! The dj didnât have the required cables to connect all speakers, he didnât even have enough songs on his device so we had to plug in our own phones to the AV basically didnât even need a dj! The food was horrible and people had to line up and get served like in the military! At one point one of my guests complained that she couldnât have the meat because it was too chewy and the crew refused to serve her with another choice from the buffet! I just couldnât wait for the night to be over so i can just forget about it! I still havenât received a call that i was promised however i did get a text message in regards to a cake stand I left behind which i never replied back to! Never booking anything with them and will never recommend them to anyone! I wish i just listened to my partner and went with the other...

Ahoy there, fellow adventurers! I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a delightful journey with Sydney Princess Cruises, and I must say, it was an absolute blast! If you're searching for an extraordinary way to experience the beauty of Sydney Harbour, look no further.
The first thing that struck me was the jaw-dropping view of Sydney Harbour. It was like sailing through a postcard brought to life! But that's not all - I was fortunate enough to witness the enchanting "Vivid" lighting event from the water, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember.
The vibrant colours dancing on the iconic landmarks took my breath away. Trust me, the view from the water is incomparable to being on land, and the best part? It's a lot more affordable!
As we glided gracefully through the harbour, I couldn't help but marvel at the magnificent Sydney Opera House and the majestic Harbour Bridge. The sight was awe-inspiring. It's no wonder these landmarks are world-famous. Being so close and viewing them from the water added more magic to the experience.
The staff at Sydney Princess Cruises were professionals, and their warm hospitality made the trip even more enjoyable. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to answer our questions. The crew's knowledge of the harbour's history and amusing anecdotes added a layer of charm to the voyage.
What truly made this trip memorable was the atmosphere onboard. All the guests, including myself, were enthralled by the captivating scenery, enjoying every moment of our cruise.
Laughter filled the air as conversations and connections were formed. It was clear that everyone was having a fantastic time, and the positive energy was infectious.
I was so impressed by my experience with Sydney Princess Cruises that I plan to book another trip with them. Their whale-watching tours are renowned, and I can't wait to explore the ocean's wonders while being in the capable hands of this exceptional cruise company.
To anyone seeking an unforgettable adventure, I wholeheartedly recommend Sydney Princess Cruises. Prepare to be amazed by the breathtaking view of Sydney Harbour, the professionalism of the staff, and the sheer joy that awaits you on board. Trust me; you won't regret it!
Bon voyage, my...
Read moreThe Staff were lovely and the food was as good as we had expected.. not excellent but not terrible. No Appertisers and the pudding and custard was average.. but we are not fruit pudding people either! The pace of the cruise itself was unbearable, we cruised so rediculously slow. We assumed this was to fill in time as we were expected back at 10:15ish and could easily made it back 20 mins earlier! We were seated on the top deck at an intimate little table for 2 with 3 other couples nearby! Awesome in summer i'm sure but very cold in July! (outdoor heating would've been awesome! We absolutely had a wonderful view, and what could definately be cosidered the best table on the boat. However this was totally spoilt when the downstairs guests bombarded us with their smoking, loud and obnoxious swearing, littering and down right rudeness. A diner seated next to us had her chair stolen from her as she got up to escape the overwhelming cigerette smoke, leaving her partner to defend it before being told he had no right to it, "the woman left.. she can find another" was the reply. Furthermore, all 4 small tables had glasses both empty and half filled placed on them by randoms, irrespective of us being seated at them at the time. The language was absolutely unexeptable and left us feeling real dispair for how society has became today in Sydney! Unbelievable really.. given that we, ourselves are only in our late 30's. We are by no means fuddy duddys.. just raised with more respect i suppose! I understand that much of my complaints are not as a direct result of the cruise provider itself doing anything wrong necessarily, however measures to lessen the problems could absolutely be put into place! My suggestions may include: Restrictions on when and where smoking is allowed. (i.e meal service times.. and the areas proximity to tables) Overcrowding - Maximum Compacity should allow comfort to all passengers. Responsible Service of Alcohol and Monitoring of Behaviour (As expected in Hotels and Clubs etc..) I'm confident this is not the norm and am sure under other circumstances we would've loved this cruise.. but we were disappointed this time around. We will not be...
