Baku Promenade is an absolute gem! This vibrant waterfront area offers a perfect blend of stunning views, lively atmosphere, and cultural experiences. Strolling along the promenade, you’re greeted by the beautiful Caspian Sea on one side and the impressive skyline of Baku on the other.
The walk is lined with charming cafes and restaurants, making it the ideal spot to grab a bite or enjoy a refreshing drink while soaking in the scenery. I loved watching the sunset over the water—it was simply breathtaking! The promenade is also dotted with art installations and lovely green spaces, creating a perfect backdrop for photos.
The atmosphere is lively, with families, couples, and friends all enjoying the space. There are plenty of activities to engage in, from bike rentals to street performances, ensuring that there’s never a dull moment.

Read moreGreat place to take a stroll in the evening or night. Wonderful sights with lots of coffee shops and restaurants around. And lots of people strolling around....a very delightful place to visit in the evenings. Also a good place to take great pictures.
By the way, I found Baku to be a great city. It looks very European like. the architecture reminds me of France. There were many times I felt like I was driving or walking around in some French city.
The best thing is Baku is very cheap when compared to Abu Dhabi or Dubai. I literally found the prices comparable to Turkey; less than half the price in UAE.
The food in some of the best restaurants is about half of what you pay in comparable restaurants in UAE. And the drinks...wow! You can get a shot of vodka for under 15 dirhams!
