Siam Massage & Beauty Leuven — Attraction in Leuven

I have been at this place four times. The first three were relatively ok. I lift heavy weights and suffer from significant pain in my back, so I need a deep massage to make me feel better. They did not put a lot of pressure to break the knots, but I did feel a bit better afterwards.

However, my last visit was disappointing and frustrating, to say the least. I booked the 30 minutes back and neck massage and while I repeatedly asked the lady (Migel) to put more pressure as I was in a lot of back pain, she argued that she cannot put pressure when using massage oil. This is the most ridiculous excuse I've never heard. I've been having massages for more than 10 years and oil was never a problem for putting pressure. Even in the previous times that I was there. She then suggested that I go back for another massage with no oil. It was evident she just wasn't interested in actually helping me but providing a light massage so that I would be forced to go back for another massage (so extra money for them). Bad approach if you ask me because now I am not going back again.

The staff is not attentive, uninterested and passive towards their customers. For the first time in Belgium I encountered discrimination due to ignorance of the Dutch language. A situation has arisen: We arrived 10 minutes before our appointment. But in response they said that they did not have room, without trying to inquire whether we were registered or not. As it turned out, the main reason: ignorance of the Dutch language. When we were already at home, the salon called and tried to figure out the problem, they yelled at us and accused us of not knowing the Dutch language. I do not recommend this...

Ok so the massage was not perfect but not too bad, I went for the neck, shoulders and back message. The staff and the masseur were so unfriendly. Very disappointing! The place and the room were too dark and not all the items required for the massage were in there, so every time she needed a warm towel or something else, she had to go out from the room and bring them, it happens four-five times in a one-hour session so not that much relaxing atmosphere one would expect. I'll never go there again. That was my worst...
