Absolutely perfect. First of all, you can see that Sheva is genuinely a great guy. He provided key information about the city with great level of detail. The most important part is that he makes you feel engaged with the city. The tour includes information for everyone: He gives insights on Mostar's traditions (artisany, diving...), as well as making you feel engaged with recent history of the Balcans. That "human" approach makes you feel like you truly take advantage of this tour compared with the rest. Besides, it was effortless to understand him, and he even gave us his card if we needed anything else. Sheva made our stay in Mostar unforgettable!!!!!

I did the Free Walking Tour two times (both with Sheva) and his tour is in the top 3 of the free walking tours I did (and I did a lot 😅). Best way to start your stay in Mostar. You will get a lot of information from a local who experienced so many things! Sheva will also help you with what to do in the city and around, where to eat, where to have an authentic Bosnian coffee and much more! He will tell you where to find local souvenirs etc. Sheva said there is a curse, when you come to Mostar you always come back! It’s exactly what I did and it was amazing, so don’t miss Mostar and Sheva’s Free Walking Tour! It will be 2h30 worth spending during your trip!

One of the best walking I’ve ever done.. Amelia our guide was passionate, knowledgeable and we had enough stops in the shade to keep you going! Mostar is not big but the history of B&H is thought provoking. For the start we were engaged with the straight talking fact filled and humour to bring the country alive! Highly recommend and they ask you to book before as they do get busy and the town is small and wear trainers and not sliders as it’s very cobbly. Bring a water bottle with lots of fountains to refill as you go round… Join the tour and become an ambassador to spread the word on the amazing people and country

// Mostar is one of the cities I love because of how I feel in it and I'm always coming back. I do not need a special reason for that. And every time I leave I'm planning to come back ... Because of all the countless moments which I spent in Mostar, I thought I knew this town, every street, every corner and every stone ... And then, accidentally I joined a group of unknown people and went to a tour ... Quite relaxed, charming, interesting and funny Ševko led us through the streets of Mostar, bringing us back to the past with stories and anecdotes, revealing what just Mostarians do know and what they a bit jealously keep a way of the passers-by. I felt like I was in Mostar for the first time, enthuse with it! Therefore, if you ever find yourself in Mostar, look for the FREE WALKING TOUR MOSTAR / SHEVA WALKING TOURS, not only that you will visit the city, get acquainted with its history, culture and charm, but you will be able to meet new people, get friends and find a reason why you will come back again ... I sure will! Thanks to the FREE WALKING TOUR MOSTAR / SHEVA WALKING TOURS on beautiful moments, having fun, information, and most of all for the...

Hard to put in words, but this was an incredible experience. 2h 30 at almost 40 degrees ahead of us, my partner and I were a little scared (plus we were a little reluctant to doing "the typical touristy" things)... Little did we know...

It seemed to us like half of the time. Arnela was the most engaging guide. So, about the heat, every point of interest where she stopped us to make explanations, was purposely on shadowy spots, some of them even suitable for water refill.

But about the content... funny jokes on one hand, raw facts on the other, and everything filled with never-ending knowledge and passion for her job. Arnela made a very complete picture of what Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Yugoslavia have been through in the last decades. And she was just so genuine and kind hearted all along...

She was careful in every single aspect of the tour (she would even thank every question that was put to her...)

Really really grateful to have had this experience....

My family and I went on the Sheva walking tour of Mostar almost 2 weeks ago - and we're still talking about it! As we were a bit last minute making booking, we could only take the 3 hour evening tour. We dithered a bit as our kids are 11 and 13, and we were warned that they may find parts of the tour a bit heavy. However, we are so glad we decided to go. Ševko is such a brilliant and engaging speaker - he brought the city of Mostar and the whole region to life with his stories and knowledge. taking us from the Ottoman empire to the present day. The first hand human stories Ševko recounted have altered our perspective on the Balkans wars and given us a deeper understanding of the conflict. We did worry that our kids would get bored (and understandably some went over their heads completely), but they really enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about Mostar and former Yugoslavia.

This tour is a must do - even if you're only in...
