Guest House City Star — Hotel in MZ Donja Mahala

Positives: 1) great location! minutes from Stari Most and Lucki Bridge (there is an awesome Pekara (bakery) at the other side of Lucki Bridge that sells the best Burek). (2) the owners of the Guest House - Semir and Edina - are the kindest, warmest, nicest, most hospitable and helpful people i met here. they fetched me from the bus station, Edina walked with me to the Old Town to show me around, provided comfort and recommended me restaurants without being pushy at all, so hospitable - i mentioned wanting to try Burek (a local food) and Edina offered to serve me that for breakfast the next day. They even gave me a souvenir of Mostar. the BEST service!|| (3) the Guest House has a courtyard that faces the beautiful Neretva river, with its amazing greenish blue waters. it would be great to hang out in summer! (4) cosy, beautiful, clean room with attached bathroom that is also spacious. everything about this Guest House is perfect. i would stay here again...

Perfect host who showed the warmest welcome and tried their best to make us have a perfect holiday in Mostar. The host were kind and considerate and they provided all useful information for us for traveling in Mostar. Very clean, comfortable and peaceful rooms. The river side garden of the guest house was adorable. I loved to enjoy the river view in this lovely garden. 10 minutes walk to Old Bridge (Stari Most). 40 minutes walk to main bus station and railway station (at the same place) or 6 euro for a taxi. Highly recommend to have a morning walk that we needed to catch the 7:00 am bus to Sarajevo, we found so beautiful and peaceful Mostar with the sunrise. Big and mini Supermarkets could be found near Old Bridge. Traditional restaurant, Sadrvan, recommended by the host was great.
