Very underwhelming, bland, weirdest mushroom risotto I've ever tasted, chef smoking in the kitchen (visable from the lower terrace through open door) but nice location! Price seems moderately above average if the food was decent, which it sadly wasn't). We had no meat whatsoever, so maybe the review would be slightly different if we had.

Not willing/able to explain the local dishes, only vague descriptions like Bosnian meat. Shows either little knowledge of the dish or disinterest to answer questions or maybe language difficulties (which can almost always we worked through, as has been really fun in BH so far!)

Felt like the waiter was super tired and/or grumpy, which wasn't the most pleasant. I feel it is still possible to still be personable/polite while still expressing one's mood, having myself worked in hospitality in the past.

No itemised bill, only the total was orally communicated. It was correct, which I only knew because I calculated it in advance.

Overall 2/5 Food:

1/5 Mushroom risotto was killed with the excessive addition of curry powder, which in my opinion does not belong in the dish. Why?!? Curried rice has nothing to do with risotto.

2/5 Salad was mostly shredded white cabbage with no dressing and a few slices of tomato and cucumber, in contrast to the photo included in the menu.

3/5 Grilled mushrooms and fries were OK, but not marinated or seasoned well. It was a simple dish

3/5 Drinks: Beer arrived flat, which suggests improper carbonation or something fatty/oily glass to kill the foam...

Hindin Han is truly a magical place for us. The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous. We always visit this restaurant when we come to Mostar. We recommend coming here between 7 and 8 p. m. cuz later in the evening you might have to wait in front of the restaurant for a free table. Talking about the food, we have never eaten better "Čevapi" than here. Also "Miješano maso" tastes amazing and cool fact is that the things which I don't usually eat were delicious here. We ordered "Rizoto" with the sea food as well and didn't regret it. The vegetables soup surprised us, cause we didn't expect it to be that good. The desserts "Smokvara" and "Baklava" were both really sweet as they should be. The waiter was really nice, he gave us everything we pleased for, so big thumbs up. Also the prices are really good in our opinion, so that's another reason to visit Hindin Han - cheap and extremely high quality food. We are looking forward to the next time we will sit and eat in our beloved...

Terrible Customer Service. We were seated 10-15 minutes before a party of 6 and they received their food before us. We got up to pay for the water and coffee we had and wanted to leave but were forced to pay for our meal which we then ate since we paid for it. They tried to charge us for an extra bottle of water for 5 km and were argumentative and combative. The woman who works at the bar butted into the conversation when I brought up the issue about them trying to charge us extra for the water we didn't order. Food was good but I wouldn't go there if they offered me free food. Disgusting and pathetic human beings who judge you based on your nationality. If I can I will file a report with the local police for their shady practices. Dishonest and deplorable
