I cannot comment on the rooms at Hotel Emen, because I only ate lunch at the Emen restaurant but I can say that it certainly was worth it. Perhaps the gem that took the cake, so to speak, was the meat platter. It's a simple dish, but so well done. Fries seem like an easy thing to do, but these were phenomenal. As was the bread; clearly out of the oven. The meat platter had a variety of different meat in sausage, breast, and skewered form. My colleagues ordered a cevapi (as is custom) as well as rice filled grape leaves which were full of flavour. Atmosphere was excellent, there definitely was a vibe here. It was close to the central Mostar attractions as well. My only critique was that service was a bit slow. We had to wait a little long for our food and for top ups on drinks. Outside of that, I would make time to go back to Emen.

Hotel Emen is perfectly located for the vast majority of things you may want to do during your time in Mostar. It isn't fancy, it's simple, but not in a bad way. The rooms were comfortable. The AC was a life saver after walking around in the heat exploring the city. The staff were extremely friendly and spoke good English which made everything very easy. Their attached restaurant serves good food, delicious baklava, nice traditional breakfasts, and they occasionally have live music in the late evening. My room was cleaned daily they did and nice job each day. The staff were able to provide local recommendations for activities, restaurants, and more. All around, this was a nice stay.

Amazingly centrally located in Mostar’s old town, the rooms are well air conditioned, spacious and modern, and have access to a private balcony overlooking a gorgeous view. I was a bit worried as our crossing from Croatia took longer than expected to clear the border, but the hotel was staffed when we arrived late and were happy to check us in and show us to our room. In the morning we had a hearty traditional Bosnian breakfast which was delicious and set us up properly for a day of trips. Wish we stayed more than one night but would definitely recommend.

This trip was my first time in Europe, in which we mainly came to see Italy and Croatia, but also decided we would come out to Mostar to see the old bridge. Turns out Mostar ended up being on one of the main highlights on our trip. The interesting mix of Turkish, European, and other influences makes Mostar a very charming and interesting city, and i loved it for these reasons. An amazing cityscape with a strong blend of cultures, it feels worlds away from Western Europe. It had just the right amount of tourists so that there were enough solid options of places to eat, but not so many that it felt overrun, like we encountered in Venice, Italy and other places.

As far as the hotel: from the second we got there Sasha was extremely nice and professional. This dude is on point with accommodating the guest. He made us feel very welcomed. He is also very knowledgable in regards to Bosnian history and general knowledge, we were able to learn a little bit about the region's history by talking with him. The breakfast he served us in the morning was amazing! He didn't give us a menu, just asked us what we wanted, in which we replied "something traditional". He then brought out quite a few trays of food, and coffee. The breakfast was an awesome experience in itself, truly fit for a king. The hotel is located right next to the famed old bridge, Starimost, and there are several good restaurants literally feet from the door. Hot water, wifi, comfortable beds, what else could you need? I wish i could have spent more time in Bosnia, Mostar really is a hidden gem! Sasha really made the experience...

I can't say enough about our fantastic stay at Hotel Emen! The location is absolutely ideal—right at the doorstep of the enchanting old town, making it incredibly convenient to explore all that Mostar has to offer. The hotel itself is small but wonderfully cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

The breakfast was another highlight of our stay. A big thank you to Velid, who ensured every morning started off perfectly with a delicious and varied spread.

We were celebrating our anniversary and asked for a special touch to our room. Maywa and the team went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience, setting up a beautiful and romantic room that exceeded our expectations.

We also had the pleasure of taking a private tour arranged by the hotel. Omar, our guide, was exceptional—patient, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. As a fellow Liverpool fan, we had some great conversations along the way, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Omar’s passion for his city and ensuring we had the best experience was clear from the start.

The staff at Hotel Emen are genuinely some of the most hospitable people we’ve ever met. They take care of you like family, making sure every aspect of your stay is perfect. If you're visiting Mostar, this is the place to stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you to the entire team for making our...

We booked 2 Deluxe Double rooms with the hotel. One of our rooms is annexed to the Reception and Restaurant building, and the other room is located in a building across the street from the Reception.

Both rooms look like they have been recently refurbished. they were clean and spacious. The hotel does not have lifts, and this might be a problem for those with mobility issues.

The location of the hotel is the ideal - it's right smack in the Old Town and we could walk to all the highlights. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Public parking is only about 20m away from the hotel - you need to pay in the local currency at a self-service machine when you exit. You just need to take a ticket when you enter. so, no problem for those who have just crossed the border from Croatia and do not have local currency.

Breakfast was included in our rate and it was a spread of about 20 small plates of delightful mezes served at the hotel's restaurant. Staff speak excellent English and were extremely friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to...
