I guess you would not know it's there unless you looked on maps or were enticed inside by the fagin type character lurking around.
It's mainly frequented by locals: a good sign.
There is a Bulgarian menu and one in other languages (same prices).
We ordered a starter, two mains, and a side dish. To drink, my partner had 500 ml of wine, and I had two beers.
The place soon filled up with locals and a couple of tourists. The menu was traditional Bulgarian/Balkan food.
The food was plentiful and was cooked and tasted great. Even the French Fries seemed to be hand cut.
There was entertainment in the corner, a three piece band playing traditional Bulgarian music.
It's not to everyone's taste, but lots of people were smoking inside, which in a way added to the character.
Overall, the drinks and food came to less than £12 / 13 euros per person. Excellent...

She gave us English menu....printed in black and white with sometimes unreadable letters and photos which were basically invisible. Food was disgusting, place was kinda dirty and very retro, but it was not a theme, retro was unintentional. Don't accept cards. But accept smokers inside.....so you will smell and not good for your lungs either. Table cloth had a burnt hole in it, chair was too high, table was too low. Live music was cool tho. Apart from that, big disadvantage is that two people were heavily smoking just one meter from our table while were eating. That's very bad, that its allowed yo smoke there. Also they don't take cards... In the middle of capital city... Those two things should not be part of the...
