Camp George West Baseball Field — Attraction in Colorado

I wasn't really at Camp George West. I was at the Pleasantview park that is adjacent to it. You have to drive thru Camp George West to get to the park. The park is nice because it's never crowded. No one seems to know about it. It has walking paths around the soccer field in the east and through the west part of the park. Bldg. 48: Nice paved lot and sidewalks. Lots of grass, neatly trimmed. I attended an event at the rental pavilion. There are no permanent grills here, so you have to bring your own. Be sure you arrive early to get your grill set up in time to eat. This is a nice park. However, there are no permanent facilities and you have to drive through what looks like a military base to get there. The signage is weak. This is also the official entrance to the JeffCo Open Space park, South Table Mountain, but three are no signs, just a kiosk that you can't see into you park and...
