Sunrise Caribbean Restaurant — Restaurant in Brampton

Do not come here, they are thieves and unprofessional My dad went to this location on Sunday the 21st. He ordered a good amount of food that would usually amount to $30. My dad is very good at math and when he handed the cashier a $50 bill she gave him incorrect change back and no receipt. He let her know the change was wrong to which she disputed but refused to give him a receipt. This obviously made my dad upset so he asked to speak with the supervisor. The cashier said okay and that she would call him. She calls someone on the phone and doesn’t update my dad and begins to service other customers. My dad was in the restaurant without food, receipt, or speaking to the supervisor for OVER 3 HOURS. Many other people came into the restaurant and were serviced before my father was acknowledged. Fed up my dad simply asked for him money bank to which the cashier stayed they do not do refunds.

This is the most unprofessional scenario I have heard of and I am tired of Caribbean restaurants conducting business in this way. Of a person asks for their money back, especially if they have not received food. They should get their money back. And since when do restaurants not give...

I ordered curried goat and white rice...he flavour wasn't that bad, not special, but not terrible...the BIG TURN-OFF was that there was absolutely ZERO edible goat meat in the order. It was all bits of meat on bone, and bits of meat on gristle and fat. I had to spend 15 minutes dissecting the miniscule amount of meat from the bones and the gristle to simply get a decent fork-full of both rice and meat. I have no idea how a restaurant can do business with this type of service to paying customers. I WILL NOT BE BACK.....I would like to add ...I also ordered a pattie..., for background information, I am of Jamaican descent, and having spent many, many summer vacations on the luscious Island of Jamaica, I was weaned on TASTEE PATTIES, so I have ingested the BEST PATTIES in the world!!! Once home, I prepared to enjoy , what I expected , would be a sumptuous Curried Goot meal...a short while later... I had the curried goat and rice on a slow heat...what a disappointment. I had the pattie on slow heat as well... TASTED NOTHING LIKE A PATTIE SHOULD TASTE. That's it for me and SUNRISE CARABBEAN RESTAURANT. The server wasn't...

Usually I do not place reviews on restaurants when I have a bad experience I just let it be but this experience was absolutely horrific and others must be warned about the food quality at this location.

I order food via Uber eats about an hour before closing …it was the buy 1 get 1 jerk chicken special.

Clearly the food that they served was completely rancid ! I was able to tell at first bite because I didn’t heat up the food when it just arrived, but after doing so I discovered that the “ steam veggie “ was slimy and gross so I threw that out ..immediately after heating up the food the whole place stunk of spoiled food , absolutely disgusting and disappointing.
