Absolutely Disgusted by the Rude and Racist Behavior of Associate “Kali” – Needs Serious Training or Termination
I am beyond furious and absolutely shocked by the outrageous and unprofessional behavior I experienced at this store. I walked in at 6:50 PM—a full 10 minutes before closing—just to quickly browse the clearance section. While moving through the aisle, a white female associate named Kali (not sure if she’s a manager or just acting like she owns the place) rudely approached me and said, “I can ring you up if you have anything, otherwise no browsing.”
I calmly replied, “Sure,” and told my partner we’d get going. As we were heading toward the checkout—not lingering, not wasting time—I briefly checked the size on a t-shirt. That’s when this woman came at me AGAIN with an even nastier, condescending tone, saying, “I’m not gonna tell you a third time—no browsing.”
Excuse me?! First of all, I wasn’t “browsing,” I was literally heading out. Second, who talks to paying customers like that? I told her straight up: “That’s not the right way to talk to people.” Instead of apologizing, she doubled down on her aggression, and to make matters worse, threatened to call security on me—for nothing.
It was 7:01 PM, ONE MINUTE past closing, and there were STILL other customers in the store. But she targeted me, followed me, and treated me like a problem. Let’s call it what it is: blatant racial profiling and harassment. She was confrontational, intimidating, and came so close to me I thought she was going to push me.
After I exited the store, I came back just to get her name and told her she needed to learn how to treat people like human beings if she wants to work in retail. Her attitude? Even nastier. She kept walking toward me aggressively and ordered me out of the store as if she owned the building.
This woman is a serious liability to your store and brand. If she’s a manager, that’s even worse—no leadership, no empathy, no professionalism. If she hates her job or can’t treat customers with basic decency, she should not be in retail. Period.
DO BETTER. Customers deserve to feel safe, respected, and valued—not harassed, followed, or threatened by rude, racist...

Read moreI go to this Adidas location a lot. The people there are very nice, and very helpful. I went today and all the Sales Associates weren't on their A-game, but I understood that because it was really busy. There was a customer that left because his wife couldn't be let in, and at first I thought that the doorman was being rude. But then he talked about the pandemic and I understood why his wife wasn't let in. People need to realize that there is a virus, and that there a policies to follow. If you cannot comply with them, why fuss? Just listen to the rules. If you don't like the rules, then just leave. Simple as that.
I feel sorry for the doorman. My highest respect goes to Alberto. I'm sure there is a lot of pressure on the doorperson, having to greet moody customers and control the crowd. I'm sure it's tough. I love the service, and I love the products. I love this place, and the people are always so sweet!
Don't get upset at the workers just because you couldn't get what you wanted. They're doing their best to work hard during this hard...
