Presotea â Tsawwassen Mills 5000 Canoe Pass Way, Unit 526, Tsawwassen, BC V4M 0B3
While out shopping at Tsawwassen Mills, I stopped by Presotea for a quick snack. Known for their wide selection of teas and trendy desserts, I decided to sample a few items from their menu.
Coconut Slush A refreshing and mildly sweet drink with a noticeable coconut flavour. It wasnât overly icy or watered down, which made it pleasant to sip on. Simple, but enjoyable. Rating: 7/10
Matcha Latte The matcha flavour was quite pronouncedâslightly on the strong sideâbut still balanced well with the milk. A good choice for matcha lovers who prefer a bold profile. Rating: 7/10
Taro Bubble Waffle This was the standout item. Served warm, the waffle had a soft, chewy texture with a subtle but distinct taro flavour throughout. It was comforting and satisfying, especially for a quick mall treat. Rating: 8/10
Service Service was a bit slow during my visit, and my taro bubble waffle was initially forgotten. However, the staff were very apologetic and handled the situation courteously, which I appreciated. Rating: 7/10
Ambiance Located inside Tsawwassen Mills, the store is clean, bright, and spacious. However, it lacks seatingâthere are no tables or chairs inside, which limits comfort for those wanting to dine in. Rating: 7/10
Verdict Presotea is a reliable spot for a quick and satisfying snack while shopping. Despite minor service hiccups, the quality of the drinks and dessert was solid. Iâd return to try more items, especially their bubble...
Read moreI would give it zero if I could.. we ordered the âfreshâ pineapple slushie, which was pictured as a lovely yellow glass of sunshine. We saw someone make the watermelon one with so much beautiful fresh fruit so we were super excited! Then we saw someone else fill the blender to the brim with ice and figured they were just cleaning it our something.. Nope. We got a completely white drink with no flavor at all. I took them back so they offered to make us ones that were less iced⊠This time we watched the same amount of ice and about 4 scoops of âfreshâ pineapple, which was actually the syrupy pineapple and lycee jelly pearls. When she handed it over, she told me she put brown sugar syrup in it as well.. Not sure what that was supposed to do. So it tasted a BIT more like it was supposed to, but after drinking about 1/4 of it, my partner just tossed his. I tried to make it past about 1/2, but we both felt sick from all the syrup they put in it. In my last sip I FINALLY got a tiny taste of the âfresh fruitâ.. and it was stuck in my teeth the rest of the day! Quite the reminder of the worst bubble tea...
Read moreBusiness Practices 101 - If you ever want to succeed as a business and are looking for repeat customers, don't be like this business. I feel like these guys are confusing themselves with a restaurant so let me clear it up for them once in for all - You are a bubble tea store, which is essentially like any other tea/coffee shop. What do you need the tip for? Is doing your job of making people's tea horribly wrong is so hard? It's a freaking takeaway store, pay better wages to your staff and stop asking for more money from customers who are anyways paying for your no-good overpriced drinks. I've attached pictures as proof so that everyone can see that their standard practice is fill up 60% of the glass with just ice. Our drinks were over in literally 5-6 sips. I genuinely feel like I got scammed today. What a shame,...
