I cannot express enough my gratefulness and appreciation for the care that is being given to our father by the complete staff at The Westmount. Having said that, at the forefront is Toni, the home's RPN, who has gone above and beyond in assisting the family with our father's care. She has been vital in obtaining the medical care he needed and still needs. From connecting him with a new physician to assisting with proper medicine, blood pressure, diabetic testing, etc. routines, to being the middle link between doctors and pharmacy. Toni has proven to be very pationate and dedicated in her role as RPN, not to mention compationate and beyond helpful when it comes to the residences and their family. She is a true ambassador to the home when it comes to being an achiever who is dependable, accountable, dedicated, humble, and motivated to help. Because of Toni and the rest of the staff, Westmount has exceeded my expectations of a retirement home. Our father is very happy there, but best of all...we don't need to worry about our 84-year old father.

Care defines The Westmount on William in Sudbury Ontario. Over the past two years staff and management have assisted and guided us through changing challenges. The knowledge that Toni (RN) has empowered us with, allows us as caregivers to utilize the services available to seniors in a Retirement home setting which allows us to spend more quality time with loved ones.
Jackie (General Manager) is always available to assist in or direct us whenever we reach out....often.
The PSW's, Helen, Lynn and Janet are dedicated as are the entire team to ensure that your loved one is treated with kindness.

Read moreI cannot say enough about the entire team at Westmount Retirement Residence. From the initial tour, application and move in process, Ashley McCarvell exuded warmth, empathy and caring. My Mom immediately felt comfortable with her decision. Within thirty days, Mom settled into her new home and often expresses how happy she is to have people around her, safe places to walk, good food and a social calendar that “keeps her very busy”. I attribute this to the entire staff, who are not only kind and respectful but also display s sense of humour so you feel you are amongst friends, whether you are a resident or a guest. Knowing Mom is content, meeting people and sharing social time in a safe environment is truly comforting for my family and we are grateful for ALL the staff at The Westmount.

Read moreThe experience from the very beginning has been so positive. My dad and I began the process of “just looking” at retirement residences probably about two months ago. We saw a virtual tour of one but really didn’t peak his interest, but after we saw the virtual tour of Westmount he said maybe this would be good. I asked Ashley if she could tentatively keep the suite as I knew my dad never makes any decision right away. Next day is told him what I did and he was happy about it. It moved fast from there!
It has been such a great experience! Ashley and I communicated by email a lot and she was always quick to respond and very positive and encouraging, answering our questions and ready to help in every way possible.
The moving day was great...staff were helpful in every way we needed. My dad is quite happy with his room and has often commented on how helpful and pleasant everyone is. He is looking forward to joining with everyone but is quite content to be in his room until then. We will be going for a walk soon. I feel very secure in knowing he is good...
