I've been on two field trips to this museum with my kids' classes. I've learned a few new things each time and would gladly go back because this little museum is packed with history and memorabilia and information.
One thing that stood out was a medal, I think it was a Purple Heart, or something similar, and a write up about the man who received it. Neat things to have on display for all generations to see an appreciate.
I highly recommend taking your children to see this museum. History is important and visiting places like this is the best way to connect to the past and make it come alive for the younger generations.

We figured that it was buried for at least 82 years. I was hoping that the OKM could assist me with trying to get this metal returned to the Nottingham and Derbyshire regiment Museum in England. Donation is supposed to be done at the END of the visit not BEFORE, or you can charge for the tickets for admission.
