Excellent museum built in 1793 British simplicity, give a donation and get a tour ! Outstanding guides take 30 minutes max and soak up the history. Ask about how they deeded land initially and the children’s shoes to ward off spirits. 7 fireplaces, numbered beams from England to...

We had a tour with a young gentleman. He took just myself and my boyfriend through. Such a wealth of information both from our tourguide and all of the displays around the house. Well laid out and they cover a bunch of different time frames and owners...

The young woman who took me around the house was amazing. The museum is bursting with great displays and is fascinating. The tour is free but they accept/need donations. I left with a much better knowledge of this incredible town...
