I rated this place based on flavor, presentation, service, price, and time.

I ordered a Lobster Roll and my girlfriend ordered the Lunenburg Breakfast.

Even though the place was busy, the overall services was nice. The waitress brought our water quite quick and was super nice.

The food presentation was well organized and pretty.

The time it took to bring us the food was quite quick, less than 15 minutes.

The most important aspect - FLAVOR! The Lobster roll (coleslaw included)was bland, use of ingredients were quite simple, the bun was nice though. The overall execution of the dish was below mediocre at best. As for the Lunenburg Breakfast - this includes two decent size fish cakes and baked beans. This dish was quite tasty but the baked beans were a little too sweet for my taste. The fish cake missed a little seasoning. But overall, not bad.

My final recommendation would be a NO for this place, but I could be wrong since I only tried two dishes. This place was so so and quite pricey. I am sure there are better places. And if you still decided to go , please avoid sitting outside during sunny days as there are tables that don’t...

Great view, good service, food didn't take long to arrive but what a disappointment when It did. One piece of toasted bread with an egg, a little pulled pork and hollandaise sauce. There were also a few pieces of arugula on the side of the plate for colour perhaps. It was tasty but I couldn't get over how little was on the plate and was pretty disappointed. Out of all the restaurants in Lunenburg, I chose this restaurant for my friends to experience that had been travelling the Maritimes and I was embarrassed for the small portion size, especially for the price charged. I'm hoping they will have some time to pick something up prior to arriving at the airport before they head out.

I had been to this restaurant a few times before this and don't remember there being hardly anything on the plate. Something to accompany the eggs Benedict, even a few potatoes (a dollars worth) would have made all the difference. There are so many other restaurants in Lunenburg, Id recommend going somewhere else If you want more...

The Savvy Sailor was a great place to enjoy an amazing breakfast and overlook the harbor of Lunenberg. We were able to get a seat quickly and the staff were very nice and attentive. I enjoyed a lobster benedict which had amazing claw meat from a lobster with poached eggs on an english muffin, smothered in hollandaise sauce. This was a real treat and a wonderful variance from your normal everyday style of eggs benedict.

My wife had the bacon benedict which was also delicious, but most notable was the flavor of the bacon. The bacon was smoky and hearty, it was some really great bacon.

They also serve a potato rosti as a side item you can add to your meal which were very good as well, we did have to salt it a bit, but it was something that we wanted to try while we were there.

In addition, they have a really nice coffee bar here that makes some great...

We had a wonderful time. The service was great and the food was delicious. Eden was pleasure to have serve us. She was happy to serve us as well and said we topped her day. She had a customer who dropped their wrap on the floor and was irate that she would not give her a replacement...come on people, it's not a massive chain restaurant. Treat people kindly! Yes they are there to serve you, and clean up after you, but not to heap your ... on! Thanks Eden! I only have one issue, the menu says, and I quote, "Please advise your server when ordering of any alergies so that we can try and accommodate your needs". I tried to order some peanut allergies and they looked at me very confused like. What's the deal?🤣🤣🤣

Hands down, the best breakfast we had while in Nova Scotia! Stopped in around 10am on a Sunday in September and managed to get seated right away, no small feat, there was a line out the door when we left! Wait staff were very efficient and friendly. My husband ordered 'The Bennie's Atlantic' (Poached eggs w/ hollandaise and smoked salmon over organic ciabatta), he is still talking about it! I had the Open Faced Breakfast Sandwich, which sounds ordinary, but it was delicious! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, if the weather is nice you can sit on their deck overlooking the harbor. Forgive my photo skills, I always forget to take the pic until after we've started!
