Danforth Food Market — Attraction in Mississauga

My concern so far has mainly been what they practice at the meat counter and at cash out (cross-contamination is really folks) Now if your gonna be handling different meats at one time shouldn't you change your gloves clean up after or have a removable surface, and clean your counter tops there regularly?

At the cash out notice they don't wipe the counter top down after someone comes to cash their meat product. ( I have seen this type of thing elsewhere they are not the only store with a pass from the inspector ) so as long as you implement your own method of staying clean and safe from that type of thing you should be fine.

Suggestion for the owner if you won't wish to change this practice just install hand sanitizer or...

You get what you want and get out. The service isn't that friendly and they hardly have anyone around to help you if you need it. There is usually just one cachier on duty. Great service, has a wide variety of produce, meats and products. Prices on many items are good, along with sales of the week on specific meats like goat or oxtail. The location is accessible from the main road with lots of parking. This location is often very busy and some items sell very quickly like fresh snappers.
