I called to book a hair colouring and the receptionist told me that I also had to book a hair dry at an additional $35-45. I told her that I didn’t need my hair styled, a quick hand blow dry would be enough and was told that it is not an option; I have to reserve a hair dry at an additional cost or I would leave with my hair wet. I thought I misunderstood so I double checked by asking if I could at least blow dry my own hair, if the hairdresser can’t do a quick blow dry, so I don’t get sick from going out in the cold with wet hair and she said no. It’s the first time I hear of a salon refusing to even quickly blow-dry hair and force clients to book a blow-dry or leave with wet hair.

I don’t know how they can honestly expect to send customers outside with wet hair and call themselves a professional salon… the service is simply incomplete. I love getting a blowout but there’s a time and place. I resent the salon forcing me to book one, even if I just wanted a simple colour this time around. What’s next, you’re going to charge clients extra for shampoo and towels?

I wanted to color my hair. They gave me an appoint 2 days later, did 55 minutes for a "meche test" appointment with the hairdresser that did not even last 5 minutes. They just cut my hair and kept it assuring me they would try to bleach it and give me the results. I called back 1 week later to have an update because they never called me, they assured me they would be calling me back the same day, which they never did. It has now been 2 weeks and still nothing.
