1st visit to this store was on grand opening. No issues. Packed like normal grand opening, got free items and didn't buy anything at that time.
2nd visit: Employee provided low effort customer service. Did not greet us when entering store and did not ask if we needed assistance. Was in the store for 20 or 30 minutes. Waited in front of cash till employee acknowledged me as, at the time they were doing stock. Asked question about a PS3 that could play PS2 games and then allow partner to pay for her items. Employee went back to work and ignored her. Then, asked if she ready to check out, she acknowledged, she was ready and he stated, he didn't know she was ready and he can't read minds. He was rude. My partner has aniexty and it's best to talk to her first to get her to communicate. We purchased our items and left. Even though at the time, we wanted to leave with nothing purchased. Contacted the owners on Sept 26th 2018 and got a response on the 27th. Advised this is one of their "best employees" and there was no excuse for that level of customer service but he was doing end of year stock which kept him busy. Advised by owner the employee would be talked to. So I let it go and thought I might visit again.
Six month pass
3rd Visit: Different employee but again low effort customer service. Did not greet us when entering the store and did not ask us if we needed assistance for the 20 to 30 minutes there. Only interaction with the employee was at the cash, where again they were doing stock and not paying attention to customers. Again, I emailed the owners of Gaming Gators, who have seemed to ignore my complaint/criticism this time around and decided it was time to post a review. I emailed the owners on March 10th 2019 about my experience, no response for a week.
Will not come again, will not recommend to family or friends, will not recommend to anyone and lastly, I will only go to the Throld location as the employees there give great customer service.
Also, its not a good look or professional for an owner to post their own reviews of their business, it comes off shady and manipulative of...

Read moreOverall a good experience - Friendly service, nice colors to the place which makes for a good environment. The place is not very organized and , in my opinion, slightly overpriced. You can tell the collectible stuff is getting damaged overtime due to all the clutter of games being stacked on top of each other. I went in to trade in some games and was nearly denied all my ps2 games because they said DVD on the discs (ALL PS2 GAMES SAY DVD ON THEM). Was dissapointed at what I got for in store credit in comparison to what those exact games were selling for in store, but hey, the guy was honest about it beforehand and I...
